Official description of the call
Article 1. Purpose and requirements to be met. The purpose of this subsidy is to subsidize excellent athletes from Getaria and young citizens with special needs, charged to the credits provided for in the Getaria City Council Budgets. This subsidy will be processed and awarded in accordance with the conditions established in the ordinance on subsidies for high-level athletes of Getaria, published on June 7, 2023, among citizens who meet the requirements established in article 2 of the same: — Be registered in Getaria. — Have a minimum age of 18 years, including those who turn 18 in the calendar year, or be a young citizen with special needs. — Be a high-level athlete (according to the results specified in the criteria). — Not be subject to any prohibition to obtain subsidies. — Completion of the responsible declaration accrediting compliance with tax and Social Security obligations on the application form. — Completion of the responsible declaration accrediting compliance with tax obligations with the City Council of Getaria on the application form. The subsidies covered by these bases will be compatible with those others that, having the same purpose, could be granted by other Administrations or public or private entities. In the event that other aid is received, the total amount may not exceed the cost of the subsidized activity. If this occurs, the amount of the subsidy to be granted under these bases will be reduced so as not to exceed the established limit. Article 2. Budget item and allocation. The total amount of the subsidies to be awarded in this call will be 3,000.00 euros, which will be materialized in item 5100.480.173.00.01 "Subsidy for high-performance athletes", of the General Budgets of the Getaria City Council for the year 2023. Article 3. Documentation to be presented and deadline. — Deadline for submitting applications: from December 15, 2023 to December 30, 2023, both inclusive. Once the requests made have been examined, if the documentation needs to be corrected, a new period of 5 business days will be available. — Place of submission of applications: Applications in person at the reception of the City Council or electronically (B@k-Q, electronic DNI, Izenpe card... a digital certificate is required) from the website https://labur.eus/OqT1U can be requested through a "General Application". Also in other places established by Law 39/2015. — Documentation to present: The application for this call can be collected at the city hall's entry register or on the website www.getaria.eus. The documents listed in article 3 of the Ordinance will be attached to the application. The documentation to present is available on the Getaria City Council website in the "City Council Ordinance" section https://www.getaria.eus/es/ordenanzas /. Specifically, in article 3 of the Ordinance. Article 4: Payments. — The payment: will be the one corresponding to the year 2023, that is, the expenses incurred between January and December and once all the documentation has been justified, and at the latest before January 30, 2024. — Amount of the subsidy: The score obtained in the curricular evaluation of the athletes of excellence will be calculated, a scoring relationship will be established based on the available budget as indicated in the ordinance in its article 8. Finally, with the points obtained by each athlete the amount of aid. An athlete may not receive more than 40% of the total aid. If in any case this occurs, that amount will be subtracted and the score ratio will be re-established for the rest of the athletes. In no case may the amount of the subsidies exceed the cost of the course or activity and each applicant, for each level, may request aid only once. In the event that the budget item assigned by the City Council for these subsidies does not have the amounts necessary to distribute all of the subsidies in accordance with the provisions, the subsidies will be distributed proportionally among all applicants with a lower maximum limit.
