Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries 1. Local entities and non-profit entities that own centers, services and/or manage programs and activities regarding prevention, care, rehabilitation and/or social reintegration of drug addicts or other types of addictions in the territorial area of the Valencian Community. 2. Non-profit entities must have a central headquarters or permanent delegation in the Valencian Community, under the terms established in the regulatory bases of the subsidy. 3. When the object of the subsidy is the financing of centers and/or services, it will be an essential condition for its granting that they have the authorization provided for in Decree 132/2010, of September 3, of the Consell, on the registration and authorization of centers and services for the care and prevention of drug addiction and other addictive disorders, in the Valencian Community on the date of the end of the deadline for submitting the subsidy application. 4. When the object of the subsidy is the financing of prevention programs, they must have the accreditation referred to in Decree 89/2018, of June 29, of the Consell, on the accreditation of drug addiction prevention programs and other addictive disorders and regulation of the Committee of experts, on the end date of the subsidy application submission period. Likewise, in the case of non-profit entities, they must include among their institutional purposes, expressly included in their statutes, the carrying out of drug dependency and other addiction prevention activities. Second. Object and scope of application 1. The object of this call are the subsidies intended to finance current expenses and personnel of the following centers, services and programs: a.- The Drug Addiction Assessment and Support Units (UVAD), including direct care in police stations. b.- Day Centers (CD) of local entities. c.- The Low Demand Intervention Centers (CIBE). d.- Programs aimed at addressing pathological gambling. e.- The Community Prevention Units for Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA) of local entities. F.-. Programs for the prevention of drug addictions and other addictions, provided that the latter are developed, within the Valencian Community, by non-profit institutions. g.- Programs carried out by self-help associations in matters of alcoholism, which exclusively carry out mutual aid programs. 2. Territorial scope of the Valencian Community. Third. Regulatory bases Order 4/2015, of December 3, modified by Order 3/2020, of June 9, of the Department of Universal Health and Public Health, which approves the regulatory bases of subsidies in terms of care and prevention of drug dependency and other addictive disorders (DOGV 7675 of 10.12.2015).
