Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: 1. Natural persons or private legal entities with corporate form, which have their tax domicile in Cantabria, who carry out their activity in Cantabria, as well as the local entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and who meet the requirements established for each modality in the call, may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. 2. The tax domicile and the eligible activity must be carried out entirely in Cantabria, without prejudice to the possibility of carrying out any activity outside Cantabria. 3. Aid for professionals and companies: It will be necessary for interested parties to propose carrying out any of the activities listed in the following paragraph and to be registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to the object of the subsidy. A. Aid for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, for plastic artists: aid for the production of works of art and development of artistic projects that are going to be presented or developed in appropriate cultural spaces and aid for artistic curators for the development and organization of cultural projects of an innovative nature, which aim to stimulate and publicize the plastic arts and which pay special attention to creators from Cantabria or residents of Cantabria. B. Aid to cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, the performing arts and film projection. Those who manage privately owned cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and/or film projection, which are registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (I.A.E.) in the heading corresponding to this sector of activity, may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. And in the case of aid to cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, companies that manage privately owned cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, which are registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (I.A.E.) in section 615 of the Tax on Economic Activities, sub-section Art Galleries, may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. C. Aid for the organization of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events. Beneficiaries of these subsidies may be professionals (whether individual entrepreneurs or private legal entities with corporate form) who propose to organize a fair, festival or meeting of a cultural nature, who are registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to those that are subject to subsidy 4. Requirements for modality D: Aid to Local Entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the implementation of projects cultural activities. 5. Requirements for modality E: Private Associations and Foundations of a cultural nature registered in the corresponding Registry of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, Security and Administrative Simplification of the Government of Cantabria, which are especially dedicated to activities related to the promotion of arts and culture. 4. This call for subsidies, in relation to business entities, is subject to the de minimis aid regime, which is applicable in accordance with community regulations. 5. Those who fall into any of the circumstances established in article 12 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary. 6. Beneficiaries must maintain the requirements that allowed them to access such consideration until such time as they justify the application of the funds received to the purpose that motivated their granting. Second. Purpose: 1. This resolution regulates the call for the implementation of cultural activities and projects to be carried out from January 1 to December 31, 2024, provided that there is adequate and sufficient credit in the budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2024. 2. The following subsidy modalities are established: A.- Aid for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, intended for creators and curators. B.- Aid to cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film projection, as well as cultural spaces dedicated to the expo
