Official description of the call
1. REGULATORY BASES The subsidies provided for in this call are governed by the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies aimed at promoting activities related to Gender Equality and LGBTI, approved by the Plenary Session of the Sabadell City Council in a session on February 28, 2019, and published in the BOPB on March 28, 2019, in the DOGC on April 10, 2019, as well as to the notice board and website of the City Council. Likewise, the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Sabadell City Council, Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, will also apply. objectivity, equality and non-discrimination. 3. BUDGET CREDIT AND MAXIMUM ALLOCATION The maximum allocation of the subsidies provided for in this call is 10,000.00 euros, which will be allocated to the budget application 301/2318/48900 of the municipal budget for the year 2024 and 2025 4. OBJECT In accordance with the specific regulatory bases, it is understood as the promotion of activities in matters of Equality gender and LGBTI, those that: • Promote the presence of women and/or the LGBTI community in the different areas of citizen life (economic, social, cultural and political). • Promote female associations to facilitate, from diversity, the participation of women and/or the LGBTI community in the construction of a model of society more in line with the wishes and needs of citizens. • Contribute to the construction of an image of women and/or the LGBTI community (in the media, in the workplace, university, etc...) in which their role in today's society is recognized. • Work on the promotion of women through studies, cultural projects and/or artistic.• Act in the prevention and eradication of violence against women and/or the LGBTI collective.• Promote, raise awareness and disseminate the rights of women and/or the LGBTI collective to overcome existing inequalities.• Fully incorporate women and/or the LGBTI collective within the scope of new technologies.• Contribute to the definition of a new social contract between men and women and/or the LGBTI collective to distribute equitably the uses of time. 5. DEADLINES The deadline for submitting applications is 15 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB). The execution period for the activities object of this call for subsidies is from January 1 to December 31, 2024. The payment of the subsidy will be made in two installments, an advance of 80% of the total subsidy awarded, which will be paid once the subsidy has been accepted by the beneficiary (Annex 4 of the regulatory bases – Declaration of acceptance), and the remaining 20% once the performance of the subsidized activity has been correctly justified. The beneficiary entities of the subsidies will have to present their justification within a maximum period of three months from the completion of the project or activity. If it ends later than November 15, the deadline to present the justification will end on February 15 of the year following its granting. For exceptional reasons, and with the agreement of the People Services Area, an extension may be granted in the period for justifying purposes for a maximum of 6 months, provided that it is requested before the expiration of the justification. The extension request must be made in writing and must be submitted before the end of the period indicated for justification. In this request, the reasons that prevent presenting the justification within the established period must be stated. The justification will be made through the document that constitutes Annex 5 of the regulatory bases and which is also available on the page www.sabadell.cat 6. APPLICATIONS For the granting of subsidies, it will be necessary to present the applicant's prior application and the documents required in base 6 of the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies in matters of Gender Equality.
