Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Spanish and European Union citizens, and Ibero-American citizens, who meet the requirements established for each program. Second. Purpose of the call: Grant aid in the terms set out in the sections and annexes I, II and III of the call, for each of the following programs: ROMA Program: artistic and research residencies for Spaniards at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (RAER). Annex I ROMAIB Program: artistic and research residencies for Ibero-American citizens at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (RAER). Annex II ROMAUE Program: artistic and research residencies for citizens of the European Union with the exception of Spanish citizens at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (RAER). Annex III Third. Regulatory bases: Order AEC/1098/2005, of April 11, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, scholarships and aid for training, research, exchange, promotion, and travel and stay of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (BOE no. 99, of April 26, 2005). Fourth Amount: Total amount: 707,600.00 euros. The allocation of an individual scholarship is detailed in each of the programs listed in Annexes I, II and III of the call. All programs have a monthly endowment during the scholarship award period. In addition, there are other specific aids in each scholarship program that can be consulted in the aforementioned annexes. Fifth. Application submission deadline. All programs: from February 14 to 28, 2024. The time regime for calculating deadlines will be established in accordance with the official calendar, date and time published in the AECID Electronic Headquarters. All deadlines will end on the days specified at 1:00:00 p.m. of the AECID electronic registry. Sixth. Other information of interest. Applications must be completed duly and entirely in Spanish, in the corresponding form, electronically, created at www.aecid.gob.es, in a complete and truthful manner. Before filling out the online scholarship application form, interested parties must be registered in the AECID electronic headquarters, citizen's folder, for identification and notification purposes. In accordance with article 10.3 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, interested parties duly identified in the citizen's folder will be admitted as a signature of the application by electronically sending the electronic form in which their will and consent is expressly stated. The scholarship application will be made for a single program. The documentation, related to each program in the call, will be attached to the electronic form in PDF format. In accordance with Order AEC/2776/2011, of October 7, communication with the AECID using only electronic means is mandatory.
