Official description of the call

Sewer Extract from the Agreement of the Local Government Board of January 16, 2024, by which the awards for the III INVESTIGARCO 2023/24 Contest are announced. In accordance with the provisions of arts. 17.3 and 20.8.a), of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted on the municipal website www.alcantarilla.es First. Beneficiaries: Students of Baccalaureate and/or Intermediate and Higher Level Vocational Training enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year in educational centers supported by public funds and private and subsidized centers in the Region of Murcia may request participation in the contest. Second. Purpose: The main objective of the Competition is to promote, respect and promote research, innovation and entrepreneurship among Baccalaureate and Intermediate and Higher Level Vocational Training students in the Region of Murcia. Among the specific objectives are: - Promote the development of ideas through innovative techniques or concepts. - Promote development in innovation by integrating technology and teamwork. - Develop ideas that respect the environment and value the environmental impact they produce. It is intended that students present proposals for real projects that can be developed and even marketed. Third. Regulatory Bases: General regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies by the Alcantarilla City Council, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary dated May 19, 2016 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, number. 293, of December 20, 2016. Fourth. Amount: The Alcantarilla City Council will award the following prizes: - First and second prize for Modality A worth €1,500 and €1,000 respectively. - First and second prize for Modality B worth €1,500 and €1,000 respectively. Likewise, the first prizes in each category will receive an accreditation diploma, diffusion on local networks of the Alcantarilla City Council and diffusion in the local media. The maximum amount of the sum of the prizes awarded will amount to 5,000.00 Euros (FIVE THOUSAND EUROS), charged to the current 2024 budget, budget application 10304.3200.22699, with retention of credit number 202400000694. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications: The works will be registered within a period of ten calendar days from the publication of these bases in the corresponding official bulletin. No application will be accepted outside this deadline. Sixth. Other data: The presentation of the documentation of the project or research work. (Annex I). The report or documentation will be presented from March 18 to 22, 2024 (both inclusive). Once the projects have been evaluated, the jury will decide on April 24, 2024. It will publish the winners on the Alcantarilla City Council website. Likewise, the award-winning projects will be informed through the email and/or telephone number provided when submitting applications.
