Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose of the call is to define the set of conditions and the procedure to be followed for the application, processing, granting, justification and payment of the subsidies granted by the Gavà City Council, for the development of activities of local public interest, established in the specific clauses of each program. Those projects that are nominatively established in the budget of the Gavà City Council are excluded from these bases. Second. The beneficiary entities Non-profit entities and associations may be beneficiaries of the subsidies referred to in these bases, the purpose of which and the activities they carry out to achieve them, as regulated in their statutes, are related to the neighborhood, cultural, welfare, youth and leisure activities sector, which are duly registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Gavà, hereinafter Registry of Associations, or which at the time of formalizing the application have requested their registration. Eligible projects may be in the following thematic areas: A. Wellbeing Promotion and care for people with disabilities. Promotion and care for children and adolescents. Promotion and care for older people. Community action in the territory. Social inclusion. Interculturality, coexistence and recognition of diversity. Promotion of mutual help and support. Promotion of families. Promotion of associations. Health promotion. Promotion of solidarity. B. Culture Projects and activities that promote the creation, dissemination and artistic production in its various disciplines. Cultural initiatives that promote social cohesion and collaborative and community work. Cultural initiatives that promote participation. Initiatives that promote and encourage reading and literary creation. Projects and activities that consider the gender perspective and equality measures. Promotion of Popular and Traditional Culture. Projects and activities that incorporate the intercultural perspective. Projects and activities that incorporate the ecosocial perspective and responsible and sustainable consumption. Promotion of local cultural heritage. Cultural initiatives with a training, innovation and unique nature. C. Youth Social promotion and emancipation. Creation of networks, revitalization and youth participation. Pedagogical activities and leisure time of adolescents. Promotion of the culture of peace and solidarity. Promotion of the exchange of experiences and knowledge. Proposals in favor of the integration of diversity. Promotion of autonomy and personal and collective development. Promotion of healthy habits. Universalization of culture among young people. Promotion of education in leisure. D. Citizen Relations Community and neighborhood action in the territory. Social cohesion. Promotion of associations. Promotion of citizen participation. Improving the quality of life of citizens. E. Equality Promote prevention actions and attention to situations of discrimination and/or gender-based violence. Proposals in favor of equality between women and men. Promotion of new uses of time in the city. Support entities to incorporate the gender perspective. Third. The conditions and requirements To obtain the status of beneficiary entity of the subsidies referred to in these bases, the entities will have to meet the following conditions and requirements: That the activities be carried out in the municipal area of Gavà, or outside of it in the event that it is considered of interest for the external projection of the city. Those activities that incorporate an aspect of education in leisure and that have to be carried out outside the municipality would also be included. That the activities and/or services complement or replace the municipal competence in these matters, therefore, activities that are part of the catalog of activities, programs and projects specifically developed by one of the Departments of the Gavà City Council will not be eligible. That the activities are always non-profit, or that, if profits are obtained, they are reverted to the activity itself and declared as income when the report of the activity is presented. In no case may the amount of the benefits obtained plus the subsidy awarded be higher than the cost of the
