Official description of the call
IRUN CITY COUNCIL Area of Culture and Sports Extract from Resolution No. 83 of January 16, 2024 of the Mayor's Office of the Irun City Council, which approves the call for the granting of grants for artists 2023. Purpose To support the development and production of an artistic project that must be carried out within six months following the granting of the subsidy in the city of Irun and/or its area of influence. The theme of said project will be free. One of the grants for artists may be allocated to emerging and/or young artists, with the aim of promoting their activity, facilitating the promotion and dissemination of their work, as well as their access and incorporation into the professional field. Of special interest are innovative artistic proposals that propose technological translations of the research process or that are articulated through the use of new technologies (mapping, virtual performing arts, augmented reality, situation rooms...). The final result of the Grants for artists must be presented in Irun, either in municipal cultural facilities and/or on public roads. Beneficiaries and requirements Individuals, individuals or legal entities, groups, artists and creators of any nationality, of legal age, may obtain the status of beneficiary of these subsidies. In the event that more than one artist and/or a group of artists participate in the project, the execution commitments assumed by each member of the group, as well as the amount of aid to be applied by each of them, must be expressly stated, both in the application and in the resolution granting the subsidy. Financial endowment Endowment: The granting of two grants of €6,800.00 each will be resolved, with the total amount being €13,600.00. Budget application: 1.0510.481.02.334.32.2023 Deadline and place for submitting applications Applications must be submitted within one calendar month from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa. Applications will be submitted to the Irun City Council through the Citizen Assistance Service (SAC), Municipal Electronic Headquarters or any other means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.
