Official description of the call
First. Object. The subsidies to be processed, on a competitive basis, are intended to hold congresses, seminars, conventions or any other event related to congress tourism in the city of Cuenca, and especially in its historic center. And they will be in accordance with the Regulatory Bases for subsidies for the organization of congresses, conferences, seminars and other promotional activities of the city. Second. Beneficiaries. The following may be beneficiaries of the aid: a) Public law entities such as universities or public research organizations, through their centers, institutes, departments, sections or other research units. b) Legally constituted scientific societies, professional associations or other public or private non-profit entities, endowed with their own legal personality and demonstrated capacity and activity in this matter. c) Private law entities such as companies or societies in the congress, convention and fair sector with sufficient capacity to prove compliance with the project. d) Natural persons. Third. Credits. The budget intended to finance this call amounts to 70,000.00 euros, charged to budget application 334-48901 Other current transfers, from the Consortium Expense Budget for the year 2024. This amount represents the maximum total amount available, which may not be exceeded in any case. Room. Regulatory bases. Approved by Agreement of the Board of Directors of the Consortium of the City of Cuenca dated December 12, 2023, published in the State Gazette of January 3, 2024. Fifth. Deadline for execution of activities. The deadline for the execution of eligible activities will begin on January 1, 2023 and will end on December 31, 2024. Sixth. Place of submission of applications. The applications, in the case of legal entities, with the accompanying complementary documentation, according to the Regulatory Bases, will be presented in the electronic registry of the Consortium of the City of Cuenca. In the case of requests from natural persons, such requests may be submitted in accordance with art. 16.4 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Seventh. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be thirty calendar days from the day following the publication of this Extract of the call in the Official State Gazette.
