Official description of the call
First – Beneficiaries University degree holder or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, who have completed the corresponding studies of the degree required for the requested scholarship, within the 5 years prior to the date of publication of the scholarship. Second – Object Having noticed an omission in the original wording of the Resolution of February 15, 2024, which calls for training scholarships from the Agency, said resolution is modified in order to correct the conditions applicable to the FSPS2 Scholarship, corresponding to the training field “Market Control Procedures for In Vitro Diagnostic Health Products” (hereinafter, FSPS2 scholarship). The purpose of this resolution is to include the Biotechnology degree within the degrees required for access to the FSPS2 Training Grant. In Annex IV, FSPS2 scholarship, where it says “Bachelor or Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry or Biomedicine”, it must say “Bachelor or Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine or Biotechnology”. Third – Regulatory Bases Based on the provisions of Order SSI/442/2017, of May 11, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of training scholarships by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products, (BOE no. 120, of May 20), a resolution was issued, dated February 15, 2024, by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products, which calls for training scholarships from the Agency, the extract of which was published in the BOE of February 17, 2024. Fourth – Amount The amount of the scholarships is established at 1,686.33 euros/month, in accordance with the provisions of article 4 of the regulatory bases. The maximum total annual amount will amount to €222,595.56 for the scholarships awarded. Fifth – Submission period An application submission period is open, applicable exclusively to those candidates who, affected by the new conditions applicable to the granting of the FSPS2 scholarship, would not have been able to submit their application within the submission period of the resolution of February 15, 2024, by which these scholarships are announced. The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days, counting from the day following the publication in the BOE of the extract of this resolution. Sixth – Other information The necessary merits for the presentation of applications for the FSPS2 scholarship will be those contained in article ten of the Resolution of February 15, 2024. The required merits that exist in the candidate at the end date of the original deadline for submitting applications of the Resolution of February 15, 2024 will be evaluated, in accordance with the previous paragraph. Interested parties may submit their application at the electronic headquarters of the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products https://sede.aemps.gob.es in the section La AEMPS/subvenciones-becas-ayudas y Premios/Becas de la AEMPS/Becas2024, being necessary to identify and sign using a digital certificate or electronic DNI; as well as in any of the places referred to in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
