Subsidy application for sporting events in Huesca

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Aid to specific sporting event projects developed or to be developed in the municipality of Huesca from September 30, 2023 to September 29, 2024 by legally constituted non-profit sports entities or associations that have a social, economic and tourist impact and also serve as a showcase and promotion of physical activity among the citizens of Huesca. For the purposes of these rules, a sporting event will be understood as a specific event, unique in the year and in a single temporal unit, scheduled with the purpose of bringing together people to participate or witness activities, competitions, scientific dissemination days related to sport and physical activity, exhibitions in the field of physical and sporting activity. Those events included in the Municipal Festival program or those that already receive help from another area of ​​the City Council are excluded. It is incompatible with the receipt of other municipal aid. Second. Purpose: Eligible expenses will be those directly related to each of the activities for which a subsidy is requested. Transportation, facilities, material, advertising, federation expenses, judges, supplies, personnel costs attributable to the event. Protocol, hospitality and restaurant expenses that are not strictly necessary for the development of the event, nor general expenses of the association or organizing entity, are not admitted. Eligible expenses must be in the period from September 30, 2023 to October 30, 2024. Third. Regulatory Bases: Bases for the granting of subsidies by the Huesca City Council and its dependent entities, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, No. 69, dated April 13, 2016. Fourth. Amount: The money allocated for subsidies for events by the Municipal Sports Board will amount to €35,000.00. (thirty-five thousand euros), from budget item 34102-48000 for fiscal year 2024, Promotion of the City. Sports Activities. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty calendar days from the date of publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. Sixth.
