Official description of the call
First.- Object: the Tomelloso City Council, coinciding with the celebration of the 2024 fair and festivals of this city, announces the XXVI "Francisco García Pavón" Police Novel Prize, the XXVI "Eladio Cabañero" Poetry Prize, the LXXIII Literary Contest Festivals of Letters "Ciudad de Tomelloso" and the XXVIII "Juan Torres Grueso" Journalistic Article Contest. Second.- Beneficiaries: All authors who wish to do so, of any nationality and whose works are written in Spanish, may compete for the different awards. Those authors who have obtained the same prize in the last three calls will be awarded. The local awards "Ángel López Martínez" and "Félix Grande" are reserved for natural authors, residents or with proven links to the city of Tomelloso. Third.- Regulatory Bases: This call will be governed by the Bases approved by resolution of the Mayor's Office-Presidency published on the notice board of this City Council on February 19, 2024. Fourth.- Amount: The following prizes are established: XXVI Narrative Prize - Detective Novel "Francisco García Pavón": Single prize of €7,500 and diploma. XXVI Poetry Prize "Eladio Cabañero": Single prize of €4,500 and diploma. "Ángel López Martínez" Local Poetry Prize, single prize of €1,000 and diploma. - "Félix Grande" Local Storytelling Prize, single prize of €1,000 and diploma. XXVIII "Juan Torres Grueso" Journalistic Article Contest, single prize of €1,000 and diploma. will be carried out as provided in the Bases, and may be sent by postal mail or by email.
