Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. 1. Any natural or legal person, including Cooperative Societies and Agrarian Transformation Societies (SAT), who own a beef cattle farm located in Cantabria may be a beneficiary of the aid regulated by this Resolution. 2. Furthermore, they must be farms that comply with the legal regulations in force issued by the Ministry, in matters of environment, hygiene, animal welfare and health, and identification and registration of animals. Likewise, they may not have been subject to a sanction, with serious or very serious misconduct, for non-compliance with the aforementioned regulations, in the year prior to the date of submission of the application. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of this Resolution is to call for aid in competitive competition for the financial year 2024 for livestock farmers in the autonomous community of Cantabria who are dedicated to promoting the breeding of animals belonging to pure breeds of meat aptitude or mixed aptitude on cattle farms in the Autonomous Community in accordance with Order MED/9/2020, of June 15 (BOC of June 26, 2020). 2. Farms that breed and register females in the Stud Book in accordance with the requirements of the previous section may receive this aid, as long as they are breeds included in the Official Catalog of Livestock Breeds of Spain with a recognized association in Cantabria and carry out an officially recognized improvement program. Furthermore, only animals that are registered in the RIIA (General Registry of Individual Animal Identification) and in the herd book of the corresponding pure breed may be eligible for subsidies. 3. Animals belonging to threatened local breeds that already have their own aid regime in the Cantabria Rural Development Program will not be eligible for subsidies. 4. Eligible animals will be calculated based on the number of breeding females registered in the breed's Stud Book as of January 1, 2023. Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/9/2020, of June 15, which regulates the bases of a de minimis aid regime for the promotion of pure breeds of beef cattle in Cantabria, published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria No. 122, of June 26, 2020. Fourth. Amount. The granting of these subsidies for this year will be financed exclusively from the credits entered in the budget application 05.04.412.B.477 (promotion of pure breeds) up to a maximum of 292,000 euros, from the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2024. The eligible animals will be calculated based on the number of breeding females registered in the Book Genealogy of the breed as of January 1, 2023. Aid will be granted per eligible animal and year. Eligible animals will be purebred females of meat aptitude or mixed aptitude registered in the herd books in 2023 that are between 10% and 25% of the breeding females present on the holding on January 1, 2023. For the purposes of checking eligibility, all females born on the applicant's holding in 2023, and registered in the books, will be counted. genealogical in 2023, corresponding to all the pure breeds indicated in point 1, and that continue to be present on the farm as of December 31, 2023. The criteria for quantification of this aid will be the following: -200 euros for each female registered between 10% and 25% of the census of females over 30 months. 6. The maximum aid per operation will not exceed, in any case, the amount of 5,000 euros per year. 7. To be entitled to the subsidy, the basic data of the animals entitled to the premium must coincide, at the time of requesting the aid, with the information that exists in the database of the official Identification and Registration System. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 1. Applications will be addressed to the General Directorate of Livestock, signed by the corresponding applicant or, where appropriate, by the legal representative for these purposes, they may be presented in the Registry of the Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food (C/ Albert Einstein, nº 2, Santander), in the Regional Offices of this Ministry or in any of the places established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of the Adminis Procedure
