Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3, letter b) and 20.8, letter a), of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the calls is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index). First: Object. Call for the 2024 campaign, aid for the production of quality honey from the native breed of black bee, Action III.10 of the Community Program to Support Agricultural Productions in the Canary Islands, in order to maintain the stable census of this native breed, thus avoiding the risk of its disappearance. Second: Beneficiaries. The associations of beekeepers whose members are owners of a beekeeping operation correctly registered in the Registry of Livestock Operations of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (REGA), with hives identified in a visible and legible place, with an indelible mark, which will include the code assigned to the beekeeping operation to which it belongs, who also meet the requirements and conditions of admissibility demanded in this call. Third: Regulatory bases. Order of November 28, 2017 approving the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the measures that make up the Community Program to Support Agricultural Production in the Canary Islands (POSEI) (BOC no. 233 of 04.12.2017), modified by the Order of September 29, 2022 (BOC no. 203 of 13.10.2022). Fourth: Amount. 1. This aid is financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF), and according to the Program financing sheet, an amount of five hundred thirty-nine thousand four hundred and sixty-four euros (539,464.00 euros) is assigned. 2. The unit amount of the aid is 30.00 euros per hive in production. 3. The aid to be paid to applicants whose farms are located in any of the municipalities on the island of La Palma will increase to the average of the 2017 to 2019 campaigns of the aid received by the same beneficiary, in the event that the aid calculated for the 2024 campaign is lower than said average. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. Applications for aid will be submitted within a period of one (1) month from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands.
