Official description of the call

Announcement from the Most Excellent Valencia City Council on the extract of the Agreement of March 1, 2024, of the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, which approves the call for municipal subsidies "AID FOR THE PAYMENT OF CERTIFICATION FEES IN LANGUAGES: VALENCIAN, ENGLISH, FRENCH, ITALIAN, GERMAN, PORTUGUESE AND CHINESE. VALÈNCIA ACTIVE 2024.". In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/746700): First. Beneficiary Persons: Persons registered in the municipality of València on the date of approval of the call for aid by the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, that is, March 1, 2024, and who meet the rest of the requirements demanded by the regulatory bases of the call to be beneficiaries of the aid. Second. Purpose: The establishment and granting of financial aid aimed at financing the fees provided for and required by the organizing bodies and entities to be able to take the tests and justify obtaining them to obtain the certifications of the languages indicated in the call, levels A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, and including in the Valencian language the specific certificates “Llenguatge administratiu”, “Correcció de texto” and “Llenguatge als mitjans de communication.” Third. Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the City Council of Valencia and its Public Bodies, initially approved by plenary agreement of July 28, 2016 (BOP 1-09-16), elevated to final by Mayor's Resolution No. Z-903, dated October 19, 2016 (BOP 2-11-16), and the agreement of the Local Government Board of March 1, 2024. Fourth. Amount: Being the total amount foreseen for the granting of the aid of €60,000.00, the fees paid planned and required by the convening organizations and entities to be able to take the tests and justify their obtaining, called to obtain the language certifications that are the subject of the call, will be eligible for subsidy, and whose payment is recorded as actually made and documentary justified, provided that the applicant meets all the required requirements. Fifth. Application submission period: Application submission period subject to publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia (BOPV). Start the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPV. End on July 31, 2024 at midnight (twelve midnight). Others: Rest of the requirements, documents to be presented, concession procedure, etc., indicated in the regulatory bases of the call.
