Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. People enrolled in the official Computer Science Degree course at the University of Castilla-La Mancha during the 2023/24 academic year may apply for these aids, and it is necessary for the student to continue with said studies during the period of enjoyment of the scholarship and to meet the rest of the requirements of the call. Second. Object. Financial aid is provided for three collaboration scholarships aimed at promoting the training of university students in aspects related to the hour of code, whose objective, in turn, is for IT professionals to introduce Computer Science and computer programming to different entities, mainly schools and research institutes; the training of students in a gamified programming and development environment such as Educational Minecraft, which enhances visual dexterity, creativity, spatial coordination, self-control and decision making, in accordance with the scholarship training plan provided for in Annex I and the planning of the activities in the list of tasks and their programming included in Annex II. The activity involved in this scholarship will be carried out from April 15, 2024 to May 31, 2024, with a global dedication of 20 hours per week. The month of August is considered a non-working month for all purposes, if it falls within the period of enjoyment of the scholarship. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory Regulations for the UCLM Collaboration Scholarships approved by the Governing Council on 12-20-2021, DOCM of 12-28-2021, and modified by the Governing Council of 5-23-2022, DOCM of 6-1-2022, and bases of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 1,977.48 euros. The gross monthly amount of the scholarship is 426.67 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will remain open from March 15, 2024 until 2:00 p.m. on April 1, 2024.
