Official description of the call
First: Beneficiaries. Non-profit associations of patients or relatives of patients that meet the following requirements: Plan to carry out activities of health interest, of a non-care nature, aimed at patients and users of health services in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. Not have any other nominative subsidy assigned for the same purpose in the General Budget Law of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the financial year 2024. Second: Purpose. Subsidies intended to finance activities of health interest, with special focus on the care of patients with chronic diseases, in the field of health care in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. For these purposes, “activities of health interest” will be considered those activities that aim to promote knowledge and skills aimed at training patients, family members and caregivers to increase self-care and patient autonomy in the face of the needs of chronic diseases; and to enhance the figure of the expert patient as an active agent of their own health. Third: Regulatory bases. Order SAN/1/2017, of January 18, which establishes the regulatory bases for subsidies for non-profit associations that carry out activities of health interest in the field of healthcare in Cantabria (Official Gazette of Cantabria no. 18, of January 26, 2017), modified by Order SAN/3/2021, of January 28 (Official Gazette of Cantabria no. 24 of February 5, 2021). Fourth: Amount. €70,000 Fifth. Application submission deadline. One month counted from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Sixth. Other data.
