Official description of the call
The Local Government Board in a session dated March 5, 2024, has approved in point 9.6 the Call for the 2024 Fiesta Mayor Poster Contest. The specific regulatory bases for the granting of the prize under a competitive competition regime were approved at the Local Government Board on March 31, 2020 and were published to the BOP of Barcelona on May 7, 2020. In accordance with the provisions of Articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published: ? Beneficiaries The contest is aimed at all people over 16 years of age who wish to do so. ? Purpose The purpose of these Rules and their call is the granting of the prize to search for the image of the program of minutes and the official announcement of the Festival. ? Amount The maximum budget that will be allocated to this year 2024 for the award of the Festival Poster Contest prize will be €800.00 charged to the budget application 58 338 48100 PARTIES-FP-PRIZES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND PENSIONS FOR STUDIES AND RESEARCH of the budget for 2024. ? Competent Body for the Instruction and Resolution of the Procedure The competent body for the investigation of the file is the People's Services Area, which will request how many reports it deems necessary in accordance with article 24 of Law 38/2003, of November 14, General Subsidies. The competent body to resolve is the Local Government Board, according to Decree 000023 of 01/10/2020. The Jury's verdict, which will be final, will be made public on May 3, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., on Olesa Radio (90.1 FM). It will also be announced to other local media, on the website and on the Olesa de Montserrat City Council notice board. ? Objective criteria for granting the subsidy The prize will be awarded to the participant who obtains the best evaluation from the Jury according to the following criteria: 1.- That the poster is innovative compared to previous editions. 2.- That the poster can be adapted to different formats to be published on the City Council's various social networks. 3.- That the artistic proposal (in drawing and/or color) is attractive to a wide audience. ? Deadline and form for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the extract of the call for these Rules by the BDNS in the corresponding official journal (BOP Barcelona) until 2:00 p.m. on May 2, 2024 at the House of Culture. Applications must be submitted using the standardized models provided by the City Council, according to point 8 of the Rules. ? Other mandatory information You must comply with everything provided in the Bases that regulate this call for the award and in accordance with the General Subsidies Ordinance of the City Council of Olesa de Montserrat, approved by the Plenary Session of this Corporation on October 24, 2019 and definitively published in the BOP of Barcelona on January 31, 2020.
