Official description of the call

“FIRST. – OBJECT The purpose of these Rules is to establish the conditions for the granting, during the year 2024, of individual financial aid intended for: Relatives and/or people who have a special affinity bond with the minor (understood as such people who, despite not having the slightest blood relationship, do have an emotional relationship) declared in a situation of helplessness or in a situation of guardianship with a protective measure of residential care, which meets the following requirements: That are in residential care in Tenerife. Who have been in residential care the year prior to the approval of this Call, as long as they are being followed up by the family intervention teams. Young people who have been supervised due to reaching the age of majority, within the Residential Care Network of Tenerife, who are being followed up, in order to address specific situations of need or social emergency, which have not been covered by another Public Administration (if applicable). that they can be covered by another Administration, provided that it is justified that without this aid the emergency situation and/or need that motivates the request cannot be met). way of receiving the aid, they may be: Direct, when they are granted or paid personally to the beneficiary. Indirect, when they are granted to the beneficiary and are paid, singularly, to the provider of the service or supply to which the aid is intended. Eligible expenses are considered to be those current expenses that, within the framework of this call for grants, are intended to grant financial aid to users of the IASS Childhood and Family Unit. such, those listed below, as long as the requirements detailed in Annex I are met: Basic needs. Accommodation needs. Transportation and/or travel needs, within or outside the national territory, as detailed in Annex I. Social and health needs. Educational needs. Needs derived from the Intervention Plan. SECOND CALL. Article 23 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies, the procedure will be initiated ex officio by means of a call approved by the competent body. The credit available to the Insular Institute of Social and Socio-Health Care (Cabildo Insular de Tenerife) is €80,000; however, said credit may be increased in the event that contributions are received from other Administrations or reallocate surpluses, after declaration of availability of said credit, and carrying out the necessary budget modifications, to always be carried out prior to the granting of the aid (up to the amount of €100,000 maximum for this call) THIRD – BENEFICIARIES, THEIR REQUIREMENTS and ACCREDITATION The applicants, described in the First Base, may be beneficiaries of the financial aid object of this Call. those that govern this Call, who meet the following requirements: In the case of minors declared in a situation of helplessness or in a situation of care and with a protective measure of residential care, in accordance with the provisions of the First Base, being a family member and/or person who has a special bond with the minor. It will be accredited by means of a copy of the DNI, or NIE, or Passport, Family book (if applicable) and Certificate or Resolution of the General Directorate of Protection of Children and Family. in any of the municipalities of the Island of Tenerife, except for those applications submitted by the applicant who is a Relative of the minor declared in a situation of helplessness with a measure of residential care on the island of Tenerife as long as he/she has formally requested family care before the competent body.
