Official description of the call
The purpose of this call is the promotion of educational free time and the promotion of volunteering and youth participation through the granting of aid by the Quart de Poblet City Council to associations and educational centers in the municipality in 2024. These aid are intended for the implementation of youth initiative projects in which groups of adolescents and young people participate in projects aimed at youth participation, educational leisure and free time activities that allow the comprehensive development of youth and that educate in habits of participation and in values of commitment and social integration, also including those projects that promote activities and services in the community using the ApS (Service-Learning) methodology. Entities that wish to apply for the aid must submit the application duly completed and signed electronically at the Electronic Headquarters of the Quart de Poblet City Council https://quartdepoblet.sedipualba.es/, within the period and in the manner established by the call. For the purposes of computing the period indicated in the previous section, the provisions of art. 30 of Law 39/2015, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The number of grants will be those presented, provided that they meet the requirements established in the bases and reach the minimum score of the project, in accordance with this call. Once the deadline for submitting applications has ended, the Department of Youth will proceed to study the applications and the complementary documentation, requiring, if applicable, the requesting entities to correct the documentation provided. A mixed evaluation commission will be created between the Department of Youth and the Youth Council, Consell Jove, of Quart de Poblet, which will meet to deliberate and issue an evaluation report on the distribution of budgetary credit among the projects presented. Projects that do not reach the minimum score established in the call may be left without a concession. The financial control, reimbursement and review of minutes procedures provided for in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, published in BOE no. 276, of November 18, 2003, are applicable to these bases.
