* * BDNS (Identif.): * * In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of * Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the * extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the * National Subsidies Database * (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). * * First.- Beneficiaries: * * African Public Entities, understood as such, public * administrations and African public institutions and that have competence in * any of the sectors established in the fifth base: * * 1. The technical consulting assistance will focus, * preferably, on Cape Verde, Senegal, Mauritania, Morocco, Ghana and * Ivory Coast, since they constitute an important potential * business market for Canarian companies in the sector. * * 2. The sectors of special interest due to their capacity to create * value chains of the Canarian company abroad, opening new * opportunities, supporting the image of the Canary Islands as an export center of * knowledge, and generating a knock-on effect for other Canarian companies, * are the following: * * • Infrastructure. * • Territorial planning. * • Tourism * • Engineering and professional services (Engineering, Architecture, * Renewable Energy and Water Treatment, Waste Treatment). * • Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). * • Primary Sector, Industry and Commerce. * • Health and Training. * • Marine-Maritime. * • Transportation and Logistics. * • Any other that is of priority interest to the partners of the * project, in which the Canary Islands has highly * specialized Know-How, and that generate opportunities for Canarian companies. * * Second.- Purpose. * * The purpose of this call is to grant aid in * kind for consulting services to be carried out, preferably, in * the African countries listed below: Cape Verde, * Senegal, Mauritania, Morocco, Ghana and Ivory Coast that present * application meeting the requirements indicated in this Resolution. * The purpose of the aid granted will be the delivery or provision * of free consulting services in Africa in accordance with the * established in the fifth base, therefore, the payment of the subsidy does not * imply any pecuniary disbursement in favor of the beneficiary entity, * but rather the granting of the subsidized services, previously * contracted by the General Directorate of Relations with Africa, * with the intention of granting them to the beneficiary entities of the * call that corresponds. * * The acquisition of the services that constitute the aid granted is * carried out by the General Directorate of Relations with Africa, in accordance with * the provisions of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts *. * Third.- Regulatory bases. * * This call is made on a competitive * basis and is governed by the bases approved by Order No. 16/2023, dated * February 8, 2023, of the Minister of Economy, Knowledge and * Employment, which approves the regulatory bases for granting * in-kind aid for consulting services in Africa within the framework of * the internationalization strategy of the Canary Islands economy, (BOC No. * 34, February 17, 2023). * * Fourth.- Amount. * * 1. For this call, credits are allocated for a total amount * of fifty thousand euros (€50,000.00) charged to the * budgetary application 06 14.143A 490.02 Line of action 064G1710 * "Internationalization of Companies in West Africa". * * 2. Said amounts may be increased with other credits that could * be allocated for such purposes, without said increase requiring a new * call. In this case, and in accordance with the provisions of the * already mentioned section 4 of article 14 of Decree 36/2009, of * March 31, the Order declaring the * available credits and the definitive distribution will be published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, * prior to the granting resolution, the Order declaring the * available credits and the definitive distribution, not implying the * publication of the aforementioned Order the opening of the period to present * new applications, nor the start of new calculation of the period for * solve. * Fifth.- Application submission deadline. * * A period of thirty (30) business days is established, counted from * the publication of the extract of the agreement
