Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Municipalities and private non-profit entities whose scope of action is the Region of Murcia, which meet the following requirements, may be beneficiaries of the subsidies: a. Not be subject to the circumstances that prevent obtaining the status of beneficiary indicated in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. b. Be up to date with your tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, and your financial obligations with Social Security, as well as not have tax debts in the executive payment period with the Administration of the Autonomous Community, unless the debts are suspended or guaranteed. Private non-profit entities must also meet the following requirements: a. Be legally constituted and duly registered in the Registry of Associations of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. b. Be non-profit and that this condition appears in the statutes or founding documents of the same. c. Have among its purposes the implementation of educational or social intervention programs. d. Have a registered office or permanent delegation in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. Second. Purpose The purpose of the actions covered by these subsidies is, after studying absenteeism in educational centers in the Region of Murcia, to prevent and detect school absenteeism as early as possible, as well as the causes that generate it; guarantee attendance at the educational center of students who, being minors, are studying compulsory education, through collaborative actions between educational centers and surrounding entities; and promote the continuity of students in the educational system, avoiding abandonment of studies with the aim of improving school success and promoting the social and labor inclusion of all students. Third. Regulatory bases Order of March 28, 2023 of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Employment establishing the regulatory bases for subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, to City Councils of the Region of Murcia and private non-profit entities for the implementation of actions aimed at reducing school absenteeism and the inclusion of students in a situation of socio-educational vulnerability in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia co-financed by the FSE+. Room. Actions and eligible amount The amount of the subsidy is €262,000.00. The subsidies will be used to hire technical personnel to carry out all or some of the following lines of action: a) Information, awareness, support and advice to the entire educational community for the prevention and detection of absenteeism and early school leaving. b) Educational, cultural, sports or leisure activities that enhance the schooling and regular attendance of students at the municipality's educational centers, with special attention to those who are in a situation of socio-educational vulnerability. c) Activities of accompaniment, reception and adaptation of the environment for students in vulnerable situations who are out of school or with high rates of school absenteeism. d) Design and development of individual socio-educational intervention plans, based on the absenteeism files referred by educational centers to municipal services, monitoring and recording the actions developed in accordance with them. e) Promotion of the comprehensive development of students in vulnerable situations with serious behavioral disorders derived from mental health problems that present absenteeism or phobia of the school environment. f) Guidance, advice and training for families with children who are absent or at risk of absenteeism or dropping out of school. g) Mediation activities that promote the approach of families to the centers and encourage their participation in the activities of the educational communities. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days, counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the Order in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
