* Section III * * * Other resolutions * * * Department of Tourism and Employment * * U.A.P. from the Ministry of Tourism and Employment.- Extract from Order No. * 126/2024 of April 1, from the Ministry of Tourism and Employment, by which * the regulatory bases and the call for the year * 2024 are approved, for subsidies to finance projects of the * Tourism Resilience Strategy in the Canary Islands, within the program of actions * with private sector entities in tourism infrastructure, within the * framework of the Plan of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience, financed * by the European Union «Next Generation EU» . * * BDNS (Identif.): 752263 * * In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of * Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the * extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the * National Subsidies Database * (www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias/752263) * * First. - Object . * 1.1.- The purpose of these bases is the financing of projects * that comply with the tourism resilience strategies and improvement of the * competitiveness and capacity of the Canary Islands through actions * with private sector entities aimed at improving * tourism infrastructure within the framework of the Recovery, * Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union-Next * Generation EU (C14.I3) approved by Royal Decree-Law 36/2020, of December 30 *, by which urgent measures are approved for the * modernization of the Public Administration and for the execution of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan *. * * 1.2.- According to the Strategic Planning Instrument (IPE) of the * Ministry of Tourism and Employment, this call corresponds to * component 14, investment 3 of the Recovery, Transformation and * Resilience Plan. Actions that are the subject of this * subsidy will be considered those that are framed within tourist infrastructures * in the private sphere with tourism purposes in the following lines of * action: * * a) Promotion of quality and tourist image. * b) Encourage business projects linked to the * rehabilitation processes and actions * to accompany the interventions carried out in the * infrastructure and * equipment in the tourist destination. * c) Stimulate the entrepreneurial capacity and competitiveness of the * Canarian tourism company. * d) Direct aid to the sector for the improvement of facilities * and leisure services. * e) The development of alternative tourism products to * contribute to the diversification of the * tourism offer. * * 1.3.- Annex I indicates a non-exhaustive list of possible * actions to be developed and, therefore, to be considered as * eligible actions within the framework of this call. All * actions will have to be carried out under the guidelines of a project * in accordance with the fulfillment of basic requirements of the CTE that is * applicable to the typology for which help is requested and directed and * supervised by a competent technician in the matter in question, who is * considered as the audit technician responsible for the execution of the * works. * The project must be presented as part of the execution of the * action and will be part of the eligible costs. * * Second. - Beneficiaries and Requirements to apply for the subsidy. * 2.1. Beneficiaries of this subsidy, who will have the status of executing entities for the purposes of the Recovery Mechanism, may be those natural or legal persons whose scope of * business activity is carried out within the territorial scope of the * Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, and is limited to one of the * subsectors listed below: * * A) Accommodation (The tourist accommodation activity is included in * Decree * 142/2010, of 4 of October, which approves the Regulation of the * tourist activity of * accommodation): * * - Hotels * * - Urban hotels * * - Rural hotels * * - Emblematic hotels * * - Apartments * * - Villas * * - Rural houses * * - Emblematic houses * * B) ) Restoration (The tourist restaurant activity is regulated * in Decree 90/2010, of July 22, which regulates activity * restoration tourism and the establishments where it is developed). * Distinguishes two stable groups
