Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. In accordance with the provisions of article 23.2 of the LGS and Annex II of the Bases that regulate the subsidy, this City Council proceeds to make the call for the granting of Subsidies to attend courses organized by the Basque Summer University (UEU), summer courses organized exclusively in Basque by the University of the Basque Country (UPV) and HIK HASI, and courses organized to obtain the official title of monitor or director of free time in Basque. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Specifically, natural persons who meet the following requirements will be able to access these subsidies, provided that they do not incur any of the prohibitions established in article 13 of the LGS: Be registered in Elgoibar at least two months in advance of the start date of the course and until the subsidy application is resolved. Regarding the courses organized by the University of the Basque Country (UPV) and HIK HASI, and courses organized to obtain the official title of monitor or director of leisure time in Basque, the applicant must be a student, unemployed, pensioner or retired. 3. Amount of the subsidy Amount: €1,000 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to obtain subsidies, addressed to the convening body and signed by the beneficiary or person representing him/her, along with the attached documentation, will be from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa (BOG) until October 30. Applications will be delivered electronically or in person at the Citizen Services Office (Santa Ana kalea, no. 2). The bases and the standardized application form are available in the Basque Department of the City Council, euskara@elgoibar.eus, and on the official website of the Elgoibar City Council www.elgoibar.eus.
