Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias): BDNS: First. Beneficiaries and requirements Companies whose corporate purpose is the production of theater shows and that certify the production of at least 4 shows in the last six years may be beneficiaries of this aid. To obtain beneficiary status, aid applicants must prove, among others, compliance with the following requirements: a) Have the status of SME, employing less than 250 people and having an annual turnover that does not exceed 50 million or an annual balance sheet that does not exceed 43 million euros, in accordance with the provisions of article 2.1 of Annex I of Regulation (EU) 651/2014. b) The tax domicile and work centers that charge personnel expenses will be located in Spanish territory, and will have at least one headquarters in the Community of Madrid. In the case of foreign companies, they must have at least one domiciled subsidiary under the same terms indicated above. Second. Purpose and lines of aid The only line of aid will be aid to business structures in the theatrical field. This help line will be incompatible with the annual subsidies called by the General Directorate of Culture and Creative Industries for theatrical and choreographic activities. Third. Amount This call is biennial in nature and amounts to a maximum amount of €2,250,000, which will be charged to budget position G/334A/47399, of the General Directorate of Culture and Creative Industries of the Expenditure Budgets of the Community of Madrid, €1,125,000 corresponding to 2024 and €1,125,000 to 2025. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Fifteen business days counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid of the extract of the Order calling for applications. Sixth Eligible Period The eligible period will be from December 1, 2023 to October 30, 2025. Seventh. Maximum period for justification and accreditation. All documentation related to the justification will be presented in the Electronic Registry of the Community of Madrid, or in the other electronic records provided for in article 16.4 a) of Law 39/2015, until October 31, 2025. The objective must be accredited to consolidate it as a theatrical company, for which it will have to justify, at least, the production, premiere and tour with a minimum of 9 performances.
