Official description of the call

First. Participants. 1.- Individuals of legal age who meet the following requirements may request participation, individually or collectively, in all the modalities called: 1.1.- Be up to date with their fiscal and tax obligations and, where applicable, with Social Security, and not fall into any of the cases established in articles 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies that the disqualified from receiving subsidies. 1.2.-Not having to justify, after the deadline, any subsidy previously granted by the Picassent City Council. 1.3.-Be up to date with tax obligations with the City Council. 2.-In addition to the requirements established in the previous section, in order to be a beneficiary of the local award in the narrative and poetry modalities, the following requirement must be met: 2.1.-Be registered in the Municipality of Picassent on January 1, 2024 3.-Up to a maximum of 3 works may be submitted in each of the modalities but no more than one award may be accumulated. 4.-The winners in any of the categories of the Picassent Awards of the XXXIX edition will not be eligible to receive any of the prizes. Second. Purpose, granting procedure and budget credit. 1.-These rules regulate, under a competitive competition regime, in accordance with article 22, point 1 of the General Law of Subsidies, the granting of the prizes called "Picassent, Cristòfor Aguado i Medina Awards", in the following modalities: - Narrative - Poetry - Unique local research project - Cover of the Festival Book. 2.-The expense generated by the granting of the prizes provided for in these rules will be charged to the budget credit of item 600 33401 4810000.-Cristòfor Aguado Awards, distributed in the following annuities: - First annuity 2024: €4,200, charged to budget item 600.33401.4810000 “Cristòfor Aguado Awards”, from the Budget of Picassent City Council, for the year 2024. - Second annual 2025: €1,800, charged to budget item 600.33401.4810000 “Cristòfor Aguado Awards”, from the Budget of Picassent City Council, for the year 2025. 3.-The granting of subsidies with charge to the Budget for the year 2025, is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the resolution of the concession; circumstance that will be expressly stated in the call. Third.-Regulatory bases and official journal in which they are published. Regulatory ordinance of the specific bases, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary Session, in a session dated April 28, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 124 dated June 29, 2016 and supplementarily by the General Subsidies Ordinance approved in a plenary session dated 01/28/2020 and published in the BOP No. 77 of the 04-26-2021. 1.-Applications must be submitted from the day following their publication in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) until June 7, 2024, both inclusive. 2. Failure to comply with the deadline established for the submission of applications will automatically determine the exclusion of the application due to untimely submission. 3. When exceptional causes occur, which must be proven in the file, the municipal body competent to grant the awards may agree to extend the application period. 4.- All works will be presented in digital format using a pseudonym, and all those that carry identifying data about the author of the work will be void. The originals will be presented electronically. For this purpose, Picassent City Council has created a special procedure that can be accessed through the Electronic Office, Procedures section. Fifth. Other information: Awards. 1.-The City Council establishes the following awards, for the best work considered by the Jury, in each modality. - 1st Prize NARRATIVE, endowed with €800 - 1st Prize POETRY, endowed with €800 - 1st Prize SINGULAR LOCAL RESEARCH PROJECTS, endowed with €3,300 - 1st Prize HOLIDAY BOOK COVER, endowed with €500 2.-The City Council also establishes, in the narrative and poetry modalities, a LOCAL PRIZE for the best work by an author who is a resident of Picassent and who has not previously been awarded an ab prize
