Official description of the call
Article 1. Definition of the purpose of the subsidy The purpose of these rules is to stimulate and facilitate access to elementary music education taught at the Professional Music Center (CPM) of Alcudia by granting aid that allows families to cover the expenses of musical education for their descendants. With this aid, the L'Alcúdia City Council expands the existing help lines for schoolchildren and linked to the purchase of books and materials, meal scholarships, transportation aid, and the acquisition of computers, among others. And taking into account that there are also municipal scholarships in the figure of musician-scholarship in the music band of the Alcudiana Philharmonic published in BOP no. 191 of 02/10/2020. Aware that, unfortunately, musical education does not enjoy sufficient consideration by the regional administration, which withdrew the aid linked to students enrolled in the elementary grades of musical education, the following aid is established according to the requirements that follow and in accordance with the opinion of the AMPA of the Professional Music Center of Alcudia. The aid will be used to alleviate the financial burden borne by families with students enrolled in any of the four courses of Elementary Education at the Professional Music Center of Alcudia. As well as promoting musical education, a fundamental pillar for the cultural, social and educational development of the municipality of L'Alcúdia. Article 2. Beneficiaries and applicants. - The beneficiary will be the student enrolled in one of the four elementary grade courses of the Professional Music Center of Alcudia. - The applicant will be: a) The father, mother or legal guardian/guardian of minors under 18 years of age enrolled in the corresponding course at the Alcudia Professional Music Center who meet the requirements of these rules. In the event of separation or divorce of the parents, only the person who has been granted custody of the minor may be an applicant for the subsidy. In case of shared custody, it may be presented by either of the two parents. Both cases must justify it by presenting the corresponding documentation, court ruling and regulatory agreement, if applicable. b) Those over 18 years of age enrolled in the corresponding course at the Alcudia Professional Music Center who meet the requirements of these rules. The determining age will be the date of submission of the application. Article 3. Eligible object and award and evaluation criteria. The concession will be subject to the principles of publicity, competition, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, as well as effectiveness in meeting objectives and efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources. This aid will be carried out through the ordinary procedure for granting subsidies in competitive competition, provided for in article 22.1 of the General Law of Subsidies with the particularity established in article 55, of Royal Decree 887/2006, on the basis of which the requirement of establishing an order of priority between the applications submitted that meet the established requirements is excepted, when the credit stated in the call is sufficient. The eligible expense in this call is the registration fee and monthly payments for being enrolled in the Professional Music Center of Alcudia in one of the four courses of the elementary degree in the 2023/2024 academic year. A fixed monetary amount (Qx) will be subsidized per subject based on: -No. of students. -General Economic Situation. -Budget Availability The amount of aid to be received by each student will be the result of: Aid to be received by the student = ((Student 1st Student 2nd Student 3rd Student 4th)*Qx / Total subjects taken in the Elementary CPM course of L'Alcúdia) * (Number of subjects taken by the student) This amount Qx is established in the call based on the previous criteria at the proposal of the Department of Musical Activities, is decided by the competent body in the final resolution, through the approval of the call. For the 2023/2024 academic year, the fixed Amount (Qx) per subject of €100.00 is established for students in the 4 school years. The total aid per student will be calculated with the previous formula with the limit of the effective eligible expenditure.
