Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3, letter b) and 20.8, letter a), of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index). First: Object. Call for aid per cultivated hectare of vines for the production of wines with protected designation of origin (DOP) for the 2024 campaign, with the main objective of this action being to maintain cultivation. Additionally, differentiated amounts have been established depending on whether or not the beneficiary has taken out a policy for their production included in the Combined Agricultural Insurance, with the secondary objective of promoting the prevention of economic risks and a supplement of aid has been established for young farmers. Second: Beneficiaries. Winegrowers whose cultivation areas are registered with one of the Regulatory Councils or management bodies of the different Denominations of Origin that meet the requirements established in the third resolution of the Call Order may be beneficiaries of the aid. Third: Regulatory bases. Order of November 28, 2017, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Water, approving the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the measures that make up the Community Program to Support Agricultural Productions of the Canary Islands, POSEI (BOC no. 233, of 4.12.2017). Fourth: Amount of subsidies. 1. The subsidies that are called are financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and according to the financial sheet of the Program, an amount of three million seven hundred and thirty-five thousand one hundred and sixty euros (€3,735,160.00) is assigned. This amount may be modified by subsequent Decisions of the European Commission. 2. The unit amounts of the aid will, at most, amount to: - Non-insured production: 2,310 euros per hectare. - Guaranteed production: 2,530 euros per hectare. 3. An aid supplement of 10% of the amounts that may correspond to beneficiaries who have received aid for the installation of young farmers from the Rural Development Program (Submeasure 6.1 of the PDR 2014-2020 or intervention 6961.1 of PEPAC 2023-2027) will be paid in the current campaign or in any of the previous four and who maintain this condition in the current campaign. 2024. Fifth: Form and deadline for submitting applications. Applications will be submitted to the single electronic headquarters of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands by the Regulatory Councils or Management Bodies of the different Designations of Origin, adjusted to the standardized model available at the following address: https://sede.gobiernodecanarias.org/sede/, and accompanied by the documentation provided for in section 1, of the fifth resolution of the Call Order, within a period of TWO (2) MONTHS. counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the Call Order in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands.
