Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Individuals with registered offices in Santa Cristina d'Aro at the time of this call and/or people who compete with a sports entity in the municipality, up to 25 years of age during the year of the call, can apply for the subsidy call. Second. Purpose Provide support for projects to promote physical-sports activity and competition (school and federated age) for individual athletes under 25 years of age in the municipality or who compete under the umbrella of a municipal entity and participate in official championships or federated activities, of a regional, state and international nature. The following activities are not the subject of these subsidies: - Friendly activities or matches. - Internal club activities. Third. Regulatory bases This call will be governed by the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies to individual athletes from Santa Cristina d'Aro for sporting activities in 2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 66 dated April 4, 2024, and on the City Council's edict board. Room. Amount The amount of the subsidy will be €5,000. The subsidies referred to in this call will be awarded under budget application 45 34100 48306, corresponding to the municipal budget for the year 2024 and until the endowment, estimated at €5,000, is exhausted. Once exhausted, despite having the right, the beneficiaries will not be able to access the subsidy. In the event that the demand for aid exceeds the credit of the budget application, these will be granted based on the evaluation made of the requests according to the following scoring table: The criteria that will be used to evaluate the applications presented will be the following: The level of the activity or competition: up to 20 points. Unofficial national or international tests or meetings: 5 points Spanish Championships: 10 points. European Championships: 15 points. World Championship: 20 points. The sports stage or phase: up to 20 points. Initiation: 10 points. Elite sports performance: 20 points. Residence and/or participation in a local entity: 20 points. Residence in the municipality or participation in a local entity: 10 points. Residence in the municipality and participation in a local entity: 20 points. Sports history or resume: up to 15 points. One point per year competing in the elite The official and mandatory travel program: up to 15 points Travel expenses will be weighted among the applications received. Expenses on technical-sports equipment: up to 10 points. The expenses for technical-sports equipment will be weighted among the requests received. To be eligible for a scholarship, the athlete must participate in a competition outside the autonomous community. The amount allocated to individual athletes will be divided according to the scores obtained, as long as it does not exceed €1,500 per athlete and more than 50% of the athlete's annual budget is subsidized. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP. Applications must be addressed to the Santa Cristina de Aro City Council, with the official application model that can be obtained in the City Hall Entry Registry or completed directly in the editable model included on the municipal website, together with the documentation requested in the call.
