Official description of the call
First. Participants: Students enrolled in the Massanassa Musical Studies Center may participate in the call, as well as any person enrolled in a professional music or dance conservatory who is registered in Massanassa and takes elementary or professional music or dance education. Participation in the contest means full acceptance of these rules. Second. Object. Promote and recognize excellence and effort in the elementary and professional music studies of Massanassa students. Third. Regulatory bases. General Subsidies Ordinance of the Massanassa City Council, approved by plenary agreement on October 28, 2020 and published in the BOP of Valencia on January 21, 2021. Fourth. Amount. The maximum credit assigned for the financing of this call is 8,000 euros, charged to the budget application 33400–480 EDUCANDOS MUSICA of the current budget of the Massanasa City Council. Two categories of awards are established: Excellence, worth 300 euros: It will be awarded to all participants who have an average grade from the previous course of 9 or higher, in the entire course or in the instrument they study, and who perform a public audition. Effort, worth 200 euros: It will be awarded to all participants who have an average grade from the previous course of 8 or higher, in the entire course or in the instrument they study, and who perform a public audition. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The application period will be 10 calendar days from the day following the publication in the BOP and in the Edictal Board of the Corporation of the extract of the Sixth call. Composition of the jury The qualifying jury will be made up of at least two municipal technicians, advised, if necessary, by the director of the CIMM band. Said jury will prepare the list of students who can opt for each of the named categories prior to the public audition. Once said audition has been carried out, the Department of Culture, as the instructing body of the procedure, will certify the participation of the applicants proposed by the qualifying jury and will submit to the Mayor's Office the proposal for the final resolution of the procedure. Seventh. Audition To access the status of winner, you must participate in the public audition organized by the Massanassa city council. The musical piece to be performed will be of free choice, according to the level of studies completed and with a minimum duration of 90 seconds and a maximum of 5 minutes. Once the requests for participation have been analyzed by the jury, based on the grade certifications and the chosen musical pieces, the results will be published with the students who meet the requirements to opt for each of the categories and the date of the audition will be determined, which will be published on the notice board, on the municipal website and on the social networks of the Massanassa City Council. The request for participation will entail authorization to the Massanassa City Council to videographic or photographic recording of said audition to publish them on the websites, social networks and promotional material of the Massanassa City Council, always for non-profit purposes.
