Official description of the call
On May 24, 2024, the extract of the "Order of May 22, 2024, which calls for the granting of aid to electric vehicle battery production projects within the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience in 2024", was published in the Official State Gazette, number 126. On September 6, 2024, the extract of the “Order of September 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, which modifies the call for granting aid to electric vehicle battery production projects within the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience in 2024, was published in the Official State Gazette, number 216, to expand the amount initially set in the call.”, expanding the amount set in the call at €40,000,000.00 in the form of a subsidy. On October 10, 2024, the extract of the “Order of October 8, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, which modifies the call for granting aid to electric vehicle battery production projects within the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience in 2024, was published in the Official State Gazette, number 245, to expand the amount initially set in the call.”, expanding the amount set in the call at €133,278,895.90 in the form of a subsidy. By Order of August 12, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, it has been agreed to expand the maximum amount of aid to be granted in the form of a subsidy in the call for aid for electric vehicle battery production projects within the Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience in the year 2024, by €35,535,676.43. As a consequence, the Fourth Section "Financing amount called" of the extract of the Order of May 22, 2024 now has the following wording: Fourth. Amount of financing called. The aid granted within the framework of this call may take the form of a repayable loan or be a combination of loan and grant. The maximum total amount called will be 508,814,572.33 euros, of which 100,000,000 euros will be in the form of loans and 408,814,572.33 euros in the form of a subsidy.
