Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. People who meet the following requirements may participate in this call: 1. Doctoral students enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year at universities in Spain. 2. Who are carrying out their doctoral thesis on medicine, health or transmission of scientific knowledge in Classical Antiquity, Late Antiquity or the Middle Ages. 3. That they have advanced knowledge of English. 4. Not be subject to the prohibitions for obtaining the status of beneficiary of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. The beneficiary must be up to date with their legal, tax and Social Security obligations. Second. Object. Financial aid is provided to promote the activities of the UCLM School of Translators of Castilla-La Mancha and encourage the participation of Doctoral students in them by financing the accommodation and subsistence expenses associated with participation in the Congress on the history of medicine entitled "Illness, Health, and Healing in Late Antiquity", which will be held in Toledo from June 10 to 11, 2024. The maximum gross amount of each aid is 200 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline.
