Official description of the call
First: Object. Aid to production companies for the participation of Spanish films in festivals and in prestigious film award ceremonies, competitions hereinafter, that are held between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024, which are listed in the third rule, provided that said films: a) Have Spanish nationality or their recognition is being processed when this aid is requested, and b) Have a prior invitation or have been selected by of the festival promoter or entity convening the award. Second: Beneficiaries. Spanish production companies that meet the following requirements: a) Meet the requirements established in article 5 of Order CUD/769/2018, in the wording given by article Second.One of Order CUD/426/2019, of April 11 b) Have effective participation of a creative, technical and/or service nature in the production of the Spanish film that is the object of the aid; c) Have actually incurred all or part of the eligible expenses inherent to the participation of their film in one of the competitions listed in the third rule. Third: Regulatory bases. Order CUD/769/2018, of July 17, which establishes the regulatory bases for the aid provided for in Chapter III of Law 55/2007, of December 28, on Cinema, and determines the structure of the Administrative Registry of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Companies. Fourth: Amount. The total amount of this call amounts to 600,000 euros. The individual amount of each aid will be equal to the total amount of the eligible expenses actually incurred on the occasion of the event and expressed in the application with the maximum limit provided for in the allocation indicated in the event lists and, where appropriate, taking into account certain corrections. Fifth: Application submission deadlines. The deadlines for submitting applications will be: a) For the first period: 1. Competitions that ended in November and December 2023 and those that ended between January 1, 2024 and the day of publication of the extract of this call in the Official State Gazette, ten calendar days counting from the day following said publication; 2. Competitions that are held and/or end between the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official State Gazette and June 30, 2024, ten calendar days from the day following the end date of each competition; b) For the second period: contests that end between July 1 and October 31, 2024, ten calendar days counted from the day following the end date of each contest.
