Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries and their requirements. Two categories are established: For the youth category, all young people born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2010 who were born or reside in the Region of Murcia may compete. For the adult category, all women and men over 18 years of age who were born or reside in the Region of Murcia may participate in this Contest. In accordance with the provisions of article 14 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the participants who are awarded must prove that they are up to date with compliance with their tax and Social Security obligations, prior to the issuance of the proposed award resolution. However, the interested person may authorize the Molina de Segura City Council to collect data from the Tax Agency and the TGSS to be up to date with compliance with their tax and Social Security obligations. For minors who are over 16 years of age, they may present a declaration responsible for being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations, as well as the rest of the obligations with the Molina de Segura City Council. Second. Object. Promote access and participation of women, men and young people in various cultural expressions. Third. Regulatory bases. General regulatory bases for the call for subsidies and prizes from the Molina de Segura City Council for the year 2024 (https://sedeelectronica.molinadesegura.es/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&id=716). Room. Amount. The maximum total amount in this call is 1,260.00 euros charged to the budget application 18 2314 486 0201 for the 2024 financial year. Adult category: The following prizes are established (*): First Prize: €720 Second Prize: €360 Third Prize: €180 (*) The legally provided personal income tax withholdings will be applied to the prize. The youth category prizes They will consist of prizes in lots of products related to drawing/painting acquired by the Family Department with a total value of €600. Youth category: First Prize: Lot of products related to painting/drawing valued at €300 Second prize: Lot of products related to painting/drawing valued at €200 Third prize: Lot of products related to painting/drawing valued at €100 Fifth. Competitive competition regime. The awarding of the prizes is carried out on a competitive basis, a procedure through which the awarding of the same will be carried out by comparing the works presented in order to establish a priority between them, in accordance with the assessment criteria established in the specific bases. Sixth. Jury and evaluation criteria. The jury that will be appointed by the Delegate Councilor for Family, will have a period of five days to propose its members, and will be made up of qualified people in this matter. Creativity, quality and style will be valued in the works presented. Each of the works presented will be valued from one to ten, with those with the highest score obtaining a prize, taking into account article 6 of the specific rules. In the event of a tie in scores, the highest and lowest score of the tied works will be eliminated, with a prize awarded to the person with the highest score. If the tie persists, the prize may be distributed. The ruling will be final and the jury will have jurisdiction to resolve any circumstance not provided for in the specific rules. The jury may declare the prizes of said contest void. The jury, taking into account these criteria, will formulate the corresponding proposal for awarding the prizes. The winners will be notified by the Family Department. The winners will present by registration: the account number certificate and any documents requested for the payment of the prize. The Delegate Councilor for Family will submit the proposed resolution of the concession to the Local Government Board, which is the competent body for the resolution of the procedure. The Molina de Segura City Council reserves the possibility and the right to organize the exhibition and publication of the participating and winning works of this XXIV “Woman and Family” Painting Competition 2024.
