Official description of the call
and in the electronic headquarters of the Granollers City Council (http://seuelectronica.granollers.cat): First.- Beneficiaries Children from 0 to 2 years old, registered in Granollers who are enrolled or will enroll in public daycare centers owned by the municipality of Granollers in the 2024-25 academic year, can be beneficiaries. Second.- Purpose The purpose of this call is to govern the granting of aid for the schooling of children from 0 to 2 years of age in the Municipal Nurseries of Granollers, for the 2024-2025 academic year, registered in Granollers, who are in a special family situation with social and/or economic needs. The aid granted will be intended to reduce the fees paid by families for schooling for the 2024-2025 academic year, the enrollment fee, and the fees from September 2024 to June 2025. Third.- Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this call have been approved by agreement of the Governing Board of the Granollers City Council dated 04/30/2024 published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona dated May 10, 2024. Fourth.- Amount The amount of aid for schooling in municipal nurseries for the 2024-2025 school year will be the responsibility of the budget application L4211 23130 48020 of the expenses budget of the Granollers City Council for the year 2024, with a maximum allocation of 25,000.00 euros, and without the need to exhaust this maximum authorized expense. The maximum amount that will be granted per beneficiary child will be 100% of the current quota provided for in the corresponding tax ordinance. The total amount is divided into 11 monthly payments. According to the score obtained in the application of the scale described in point 4 of this call and in the bases that govern it, the following percentage will be applied for the calculation of the aid: * From 10 to 15 points - aid of 70% of the current quota * From 6 to 9 points - aid of 60% of the current quota * From 3 to 5 points - aid of 50% of the current quota * From 1 to 2 points - aid of 20% of the current quota The percentages listed above will be applied in relation to the corresponding quota according to the current Tax Ordinance that is applicable based on the family situation. In the event that the fees collected by the Tax Ordinance are increased in the following year, given the nature of the subsidies, the granting body may agree to regularize the amounts of the subsidies granted as long as there is adequate and sufficient credit, without the need to open a new call. Exceptionally, 100% of the amount provided for in the Fiscal Ordinance of the corresponding year for school aid may be given to a maximum of six (6) applications if a reasoned report on basic social services is presented expressly stating the need to allocate that percentage. Subsidies will be awarded for entire score sections, maintaining the percentages indicated in section 1 above. In the event that the maximum planned budget credit is insufficient to cover a new section, but the managing body decides to extend the subsidies to a greater number of applications, and in accordance with the provisions of article 11.5.3 of these rules, subsidies will be granted to all applications included in the following scoring section, applying a proportional reduction of the percentage for the calculation of the corresponding aid, in order to equitably distribute the available budget credit. The rest of the applications, even if they meet the requirements and obtain a score, will be denied due to lack of available credit. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days from the day following the date of publication of the extract of the call in the BOPB and no later than June 25, 2024. Sixth.- Other information of interest. The maximum period to resolve the request is 6 months from the date of end of the application submission period. If after this period an express resolution has not been issued and published, the application will be deemed rejected.
