Official description of the call
and on the electronic headquarters of the Granollers City Council (http://seuelectronica.granollers.cat): First.- Beneficiaries Natural persons who must carry out the activity on which they are granted may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, provided that they are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. In accordance with the specific regulatory bases of this call, contained in point four, natural persons may apply for this subsidy: Those who are retired, pensioners, unemployed or with little economic capacity, who are owners of their habitual residence and who meet the requirements established in the corresponding specific bases and in accordance with the economic valuation table of the set of income. That they are owners or usufructuaries of the habitual residence in the municipality of Granollers. Registered in the municipality of Granollers before January 1, 2024, both for the applicant and for the rest of the members of the cohabiting unit. That at the time of applying for the subsidy they are up to date with their tax obligations with the Granollers City Council, the General Treasury of Social Security, the Tax Agency of Catalonia and the State Agency for Public Administration. Second.- Purpose The purpose of this subsidy is to financially finance people who are in the following situations and characteristics: People who are retired, pensioners, unemployed or have little economic capacity. That they are owners of the habitual residence and to meet the expenses related to the habitual residence. The purpose of this subsidy is to comply with the strategic objectives defined in the Mandate Action Plan, and in accordance with the provisions of the Strategic Subsidy Plan. This subsidy must promote actions/projects/activities of public or social interest that aim to cover the expenses related to the habitual residence owned by people in situations of low economic capacity and vulnerability. Third.- Regulatory Bases By agreement of the Local Government Board dated April 23, 2024, the specific Regulatory Bases were approved that must govern the granting of the subsidy under a competitive competition regime aimed at retired people, pensioners, unemployed people or those with limited economic capacity by the Granollers City Council through the Social Services area. These Specific Regulatory Bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Province no. of identifier 3618986 dated May 3, 2024. Fourth.- Amount The maximum amount that will be allocated during the year 2024 for the granting of the subsidies provided for in this call will be 30,000.00 euros to the item created for this purpose with identification: L4211/23110/48040 "SCARE TAXPAY AID ECONOMIC CAPACITY", without the need to exhaust the entire available budgetary credit (in case there are not enough requests). Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB), and will end on July 5, 2024. Applicants may submit the requests, along with the supporting documentation indicated in the fifth clause of the bases, through the following channels: a. In person at the City Service Office (OAC), located at Sant Josep Street, number 7, ground floor, during public service hours. b. Telematically through the electronic headquarters of the Granollers City Council at the address https://seuelectronica.granollers.cat
