BDNS: xxxx In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, 123 of the consolidated text of the General Law of Public Finance of the Government of Andalusia, approved by Legislative Decree 1/2010, of March 2, and article 31 of the Decree 282/2010, of May 4, which approves the Regulation of the procedures for granting subsidies of the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía, an extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans and in this Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA). First. Call. 1. The granting of subsidies for the development of applied research and experimental development projects by the Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System is called for the year 2024, under a competitive competition regime. 2. This call is governed by the provisions of the Order of April 23, 2024 of the Minister of University, Research and Innovation, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, to develop research projects by the agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System. 3. The total amount available for this call is TWENTY-FIVE MILLION EUROS (€25,000,000). The subsidies will be financed from Service 17 of budget program 54A and the following budget items: BUDGET ITEM: 1500170000 G/54A/70300/00 A411AA12N2 2024000113 ANNUITY 2024: 1,875,000 ANNUITY 2028: 1,875,000 BUDGET ITEM:: 1500170000 G/54A/74107/00 A411AA12N2 2024000115 ANNUITY 2024: 9,375,000 ANNUITY 2028:9,375,000 ITEM BUDGETARY:1500170000 G/54A/78203/00 A411AA12N2 2024000116 ANNUITY 2024: 1,250,000 ANNUITY 2028: 1,250,000 Total annuity 2024: 12,500,000 Total annuity 2028:12,500,000 4. The European Union participates in the financing of these subsidies, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), 85%, through the FEDER Andalusia 2021-2027 Program. Second. Object. The purpose of these subsidies is the financing of applied research and experimental development projects carried out by the Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System, under Line 2 described in article 1 of the regulatory bases. The projects must be developed in one of the specialization environments of the Smart Specialization Strategy for the Sustainability of Andalusia, S4Andalucia 2021-2027, approved by Government Council Agreement dated July 18, 2023 published in BOJA no. 139 of July 21 and whose challenges can be consulted on the official website of the Strategy: https://s4andalucia.es/recursos/: Specialization environment) Sub-environment E1. Industries linked to climate change mitigation and adaptation Third. Beneficiary entities. In accordance with the provisions of article 3 of the regulatory bases, the following Knowledge Generation Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System may access the status of beneficiaries of the awarded subsidies, according to the classification made in article 3 of Decree 223/2023, of September 12, which approves the Regulation regulating the classification, accreditation and registration of Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System: a) Universities Andalusian. b) Public Research Organizations. c) Research and/or Innovation Centers, Institutes or Foundations. Groups without legal personality may also be beneficiaries of the subsidies, under the provisions of article 11.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, which may request a subsidy for a coordinated project, in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of the regulatory bases.
