Literary Contest Castellum Ripae BASES DELS LXVIII PREMIS LITERARIS 2024. Prizes for narrative, poetry and children's literature. Object. The Castelló City Council, with the objective of promoting the use of Valencian in the Ribera Alta region, convenes the LXVIII Castellum Ripae Literary Contest in the narrative, poetry and children's literature modalities. Soler i Estruch Award Narrative - Free topic. -The length will be from 80 to 250 pages (DIN A-4), single-sided writing, 1.5 line spacing and Arial 12 font. -The prize will have a prize of 5,000 euros subject to the withholding of the IRPF correspondent, and the publication of the winning work by the publishing house Edicions del Bullent. Children's Poetry Ausiàs March Award -Poems must be original, individual and free in theme, with or without meter. -Primary students from the town may participate, divided into three categories: first cycle, second cycle and third cycle. -The length will be one page (DIN A-4), written on one side only, 1.5 line spacing and Arial 12 font. -The prize will consist of publication in the party book. On the day of the award, a public reading of the winning poems will be held. Mª Dolores Català Amorós Children's Non-Fiction Award -Narratives written in Valencian intended for a reading public between 7 and 9 years old. -The works presented will be of a playful nature, it will be valued that the plot of the book highlights any branch of human knowledge (texts on education in values, cultural, historical, anthropological, linguistic, sociological, scientific, cultural, landscape, local customs and/or promotion of the municipality, biographies, diaries, etc.) try to tell a specific theme. In addition to the title, it will be necessary to specify the topic covered. -The length will be 10 to 15 pages (DIN A-4), written on one side only, 1.5 line spacing and Arial 12 font. -The prize will have a prize of 1,500 euros subject to the corresponding personal income tax withholding, and the publication of the winning work by the publishing house Edicions del Bullent.
