Official description of the call
Requirements that participants must meet 1. Individuals, legal entities (micro-enterprises) or communities of property linked to an IAE related to businesses, services or hospitality that carry out a commercial, restaurant and/or service activity in establishments located in Picassent may participate in these awards. A microenterprise is understood to be one that has less than 10 people and has an annual business volume of no more than two million euros (European Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, of May 6). Regarding communities of property: - If it is a community of property, it is necessary to record both in the application and in the granting resolution the percentage of participation of each community member, who will also have the status of beneficiaries. - They will not be able to be beneficiaries of the prizes presented if any of their members do not meet the requirements set out in these rules. - In the case of a community of property, civil society or other economic entity without legal personality, it will not be dissolved until the limitation period provided for in articles 39 and 65 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on Subsidies, has elapsed, in accordance with article 11 of said law. 2. Therefore, legal entities (businesses, services and hospitality) with a business name in Picassent that meet each and every one of the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the financial aid regulated in these bases: 2.1. Not be subject to any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. 2.2. Be up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations. 23. Be up to date with compliance with tax obligations with the Picassent City Council. 2.4. Not have any subsidy granted by the Picassent City Council pending justification, after the deadline. 2.5. Have a commercial establishment open in Picassent with a business name in the same municipality. 3. It will be considered that the beneficiary entity is up to date with tax obligations with the Picassent City Council, when it does not have tax debts or sanctions in the executive period, unless they are deferred, divided or whose execution was suspended. 4. Participation in these awards implies acceptance of the rules contained in this call. Regulatory bases and Official Gazette in which they are published Regulatory ordinance of the specific bases, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary Session, in a session dated January 28, 2020 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia no. 77 of April 26, 2021. Third additional provision relating to educational, cultural, scientific or prizes of any nature. Object and purpose of the call The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure, under a competitive competition regime, for the granting of financial aid, from the Linguistic Promotion area of the Picassent City Council, to businesses, services and micro-enterprises, aimed at promoting the use of Valencian in the commercial sector. Award procedure The prizes present will be awarded in accordance with the competitive competition procedure. Budget credit The awards approved through this call for a maximum total amount of €3,200 will be processed under the 2024 municipal budget item called "Project awards for the use of Valencian in local commerce 2024": 640.33402.4810001. The City Council may authorize an additional amount, the application of which to the granting of subsidies will not require a new call. The use of the additional amount mentioned is conditioned, prior to the resolution of the concession, to the approval, where appropriate, of the budget modification that is appropriate and to the incorporation into the file of the certificate of existence of sufficient credit.
