Official description of the call
Extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board dated July 1, 2024, which calls for prizes for boys and girls who participate in competitions in the year 2024. First.- Beneficiaries. Boys and girls athletes between the ages of 6 and 12 (year of birth between 2012 and 2018) from Burjassot who prove sporting prominence may obtain the status of beneficiaries, in accordance with the criteria established in article 6 of the call. Applicants must meet the following requirements: a) Be up to date with their tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, the Territorial Treasury of Social Security and with the Burjassot City Council. Accreditation of compliance with the obligation to be up to date with the Burjassot City Council will be carried out ex officio by the City Council, at the request of the management service of this subsidy, through the issuance of a positive administrative certification, in accordance with article 9 of the General Subsidies Ordinance. b) Not have pending refunds of subsidies from previous years. c) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies. d) Provide adequate publicity of the public nature of the financing of the programs, activities, investments or actions of any type that are the subject of this subsidy, in the terms established in article 4 c) of this call. e) Comply with the conditions established in article 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Burjassot City Council. f) Be registered in the municipality of Burjassot. It will be verified ex officio by the investigating body of the procedure. g) Be in possession of a valid license from a sports federation of the Valencian Community, or Spanish if there is no regional implementation of the sports modality or specialty, accredited by the corresponding federation. h) Participate in National, Regional or Provincial Championships. i) Not having been firmly sanctioned for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports matters. j) Not be a beneficiary of any other aid that has the same purpose granted by this administration. k) Accredit the sports results obtained between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024, as established in article 6. Second.- Purpose. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of awards to athletic boys and girls from Burjassot between 6 and 12 years old, in order to distinguish, promote and recognize sporting performance, the culture of effort and excellence. Third.- Regulatory bases. The General Ordinance regulating subsidies is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia number 105, of May 31, 2024. The amount of these subsidies will be paid from the credit of the current budget of Municipal Item 341.48101 “Minor Sports Scholarship Aid Awards”. The maximum amount allocated to these subsidies will be 2,000 euros. Fifth.- Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province, until September 15, 2024 (inclusive).
