Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database http:/www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans. First: Beneficiaries. Valencian clubs for the participation of their teams in official national and/or international competitions, of a non-professional nature, that have absolute category teams, in the two highest categories of the national leagues of the different sports modalities. Second: Object. 1. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of financial aid under a competitive competition regime, in accordance with the procedure provided for in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valencia, to Valencian clubs for the participation of their teams in official national and/or international competitions, of a non-professional nature, that have absolute category teams, in the two highest categories of the national leagues of the different sports modalities, during 2024. 2. In Specifically, the purpose of this call is to finance Valencian clubs, both male and female, that demonstrate great sporting relevance based on their results in official competitions, based on their social impact and high level of the club's athletes, for the development of an official national or international sports competition recognized by the corresponding sports federation. Third: Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases are those established in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Valencia, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia no. 107, dated June 5, 2023. Fourth: Financing and amount of the activities. The amount of the subsidies granted under this call amounts to 1,000,000 euros, and will be made effective from application 631.34100.48200 of the 2024 Provincial Council Expense Budget and the credit approved for this purpose by the Corporation. The subsidy may not exceed the amount requested or, in any case, €20,000 for individual sports and €40,000 for team sports. Fifth: Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia. When the last day of the period is a non-business day, it will be understood to be extended to the first following business day, in accordance with the provisions of article 30.5 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
