Agreement of July 3, 2024 of the JGL of Ibiza City Council that approves the call for a subsidy through a competitive bidding procedure for the acquisition of textbooks and teaching materials for the year 2024

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Public educational centers on the island of Eivissa that are affiliated with the program for the reuse and creation of a fund of textbooks and teaching materials, which have school students registered in the city of Eivissa with an effective and continuous seniority of three months prior to the end date of the deadline to submit applications who study between 1st and 6th grade of primary school. Public educational centers on the island of Ibiza that are affiliated with the reuse program and creation of a fund of textbooks and teaching materials, which duly accredit the expenditure incurred. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is the granting by the Iivissa City Council of subsidies for the acquisition of textbooks and teaching materials for the 2023-2024 school year, aimed at primary school students registered in the municipality of Iivissa. 1.1. Textbooks: that printed or digital material that determines the center, of a lasting nature, with a basic gathering for the development of the curriculum. 1.2. Complementary teaching material: that printed or digital material, which the center determines with a complementary function for the development of the curriculum, such as dictionaries, readings, notebooks, atlases, etc. Expendable materials such as pencils, markers, paints, cardboard, etc. will not be understood as teaching materials. 1.3. Computer material: that material determined by the center intended for study or use by students. They are considered eligible expenses in accordance with the provisions of art. 31 of the LGS, expenses incurred before the end date of the established justification period and that are directly related to the purpose of the subsidy. a) The following are considered eligible expenses: The acquisition of original school textbooks. The acquisition of teaching material, provided that its use is justified by the sample of a teaching unit or a detailed description of the same where its link with the educational curriculum is specified. In the event that the teaching material consists of electronic equipment or for information processes with a useful life of more than 1 year, the linear amortization coefficients established in current tax regulations will be applied. In any case, it must be proven that the expense has been carried out prior to the publication of the extract of the corresponding call in the BOIB. b) They are not considered eligible: Expendable materials such as pencils, markers, paints, cardboard, etc. will not be understood as teaching materials. or any other expense not contemplated in the previous section. Third. Regulatory bases. SPECIFIC REGULATORY BASES FOR THE CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TEXTBOOKS AND DIDACTIC MATERIAL FOR SCHOOLS WITH STUDENTS REGISTERED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF EIVISSA FOR THE YEAR 2024. Published on the electronic headquarters (https://eivissa.sedelectronica.es) Fourth. Amount. Each of the scholarships will have a total amount of €50 for each member of the student body or €70 if they belong to one of the Special Education Units in Ordinary Centers and no subsidy may exceed, in any case, the maximum percentage of 100% of the eligible expense. The order of the granting of subsidies, in the event that the amount of the applications exceeds the budgetary credit enabled for this purpose, will be based on the date of submission of the application in the General Entry Registry of the Iivissa City Council. For the payment of these subsidies there is a budget allocation, in the amount of €100,000 in item 32000 48000 "Textbook aid" of the Education Budget for the year 2024, of the Iivissa City Council. Eligible expenses for the purposes of this call are considered those that respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are carried out within the period established between July 1, 2023 and the date of publication of the extract of the BOIB call. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the BOIB. If the last day of submission is a non-business day, the deadline will be extended until the next business day. The documentation will be published in the National Base
