Official description of the call
BDNS: 775396 Object and purpose: The purpose of the call is to establish the conditions for the granting of subsidies aimed at compensating for the higher maintenance costs of vehicles adapted for use by people with reduced mobility, due to the higher maintenance cost that characterizes this type of vehicles compared to conventional taxis. For the purposes of this call, maintenance expenses are understood to be those that originate from: a) The highest price of vehicle insurance b) The highest cost of vehicle maintenance and repair c) The highest fuel consumption. Beneficiaries: Those who hold the auto taxi license issued by the Gijón/Xixón City Council at the time of submitting the application, who are performing their service on a regular and permanent basis and who have a vehicle adapted to people with reduced mobility, approved in accordance with the municipal technical requirements and in accordance with the current and mandatory specifications, may obtain the status of beneficiary of these aids. Scales and amounts of subsidies: The individualized amount of the subsidy will be determined based on the amount of the highest maintenance and repair expenses for vehicles, adapted for use by people with reduced mobility, depending on the type of expense in question, according to the following distribution: a) Up to 25% of the cost of vehicle insurance. b) Up to 20% of fuel costs c) General maintenance and repair costs (oil, filters, timing belt, brake pads, tires, etc.), up to a maximum of 500 euros. The distribution of subsidies among the beneficiaries will be carried out subject to two quantitative limits: - The total amount may not exceed the maximum amount established in this call. - The individual amount of the subsidy in this line may not exceed 3,000 euros. In the event that there is insufficient credit, it will be distributed proportionally among all applications until the credit is exhausted. It will not be necessary to proceed to comparison or priority when the credit is sufficient to meet all requests. In cases where the total amount to be awarded to the beneficiaries is greater than the overall amount of the subsidy, the amount will be reduced proportionally. Call: Government Board Agreement of July 2, 2024 of the Gijón/Xixón City Council. “Call for aid aimed at the Taxi service sector of the city of Gijón/Xixón.” Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias, until September 30, 2024. Application and documentation to be provided: The application will be formulated in accordance with the official application form, as well as the rest of the standardized forms to be completed by the applicant, and will be made available on the electronic headquarters of the city council website. Gijón/Xixón, in the SUBSIDIES section. Applications must be accompanied by the documentation indicated in ANNEX I of the call.
