Call for the IX Santomera Amateur Theater Contest 2024. Extract from the Agreement of the Local Government Board of the Santomera City Council of July 18, 2024 approving the call for the IX Santomera Amateur Theater Contest 2024. According to the agreement adopted by the Local Government Board of July 18, 2024 and in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8.a of the Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database and on the website of the Santomera City Council (https://santomera.es/) First: Requirements of applicants and beneficiaries: The following amateur theater groups for adults, non-professionals and that do not belong to the municipality of Santomera, that meet the following requirements may participate in this call: - Be registered in the Registry of associations that corresponds to them according to the place of origin, with the name of group or association. - Not be immersed in files for the return of subsidies previously granted by the Santomera City Council. - Not being included in any of the cases included in article 13, sections 2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, on the prohibition of obtaining public aid or subsidies. - Be up to date with compliance with tax and Social Security obligations, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter III, Section 3 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21. - Financial subsidies will not be granted to those applicants who have pending justification of a municipal subsidy granted in the year immediately preceding the call, as long as it is not adequately justified in accordance with the regulations in which it was granted. Second: Object In order to regulate the granting of prizes in a competitive competition regime based on the artistic values of the works carried out by the groups participating in the Santomera Amateur Theater Contest, the Department of Culture of the Santomera City Council convenes said contest, which will be held at the El Siscar Theater on October 26, November 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2024, all with the purpose of promote the performing arts in the municipality of Santomera and promote the participation of amateur theater groups. Third: Regulatory Bases. Ordinance regulating the subsidies to be granted by the Santomera City Council, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in a session held on March 28, 2022 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia on May 21, 2016. Fourth: Financing and Amount of the call. The subsidies awarded will be made from the 2024 budget and budget application 002.334.48004 Cultural Promotion, for the amount of 4,200 euros, distributed as follows: - Best Show Award: Trophy and €1,500. - Second best show award: Trophy and €1,400. - Third Best Show: Trophy and €1,300. - Best Direction Award: Trophy. - Best Actress Award: Trophy - Best Actor Award: Trophy. - Best Supporting or Supporting Actress Award: Trophy - Best Supporting or Supporting Actor Award: Trophy - Special Audience Award: Trophy. - Best Costume Award: Trophy - Best Set Design Award: Trophy. In any case, the amount awarded may not exceed the amount requested, which may not, in any case, be greater than the total amount of execution of the activity to be carried out. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the extract of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and will end on September 8. The publication will be made through the BDNS, once the text of the call and the information required for its publication have been presented to it. Sixth: Other data. The application and the rest of the documentation required in this call will be available to interested parties at the Electronic Headquarters of this City Council, as well as on the website: www.santomera.es.
