Official description of the call
1. Beneficiaries Natural or legal persons who own an economic activity with tax domicile and/or activity in Vallirana and who belong to any business sector (industrial, commercial, catering, services, etc.) may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, except for line L1 where the condition of tax domicile and/or activity in Vallirana will not apply. Companies with 10 or more workers or with an annual turnover of more than 2 million euros declared in the last fiscal year closed prior to the year of publication of the call are excluded as beneficiary entities of this subsidy. These two exclusion limits will not apply to companies in the restaurant sector and those entities related to education, sports, leisure and leisure activities, given the nature of their activities. The exclusion limit of annual business volume for newly created activities will also not apply, understanding that this value is less than 2 million euros per year. 2. Purpose The purpose of the subsidies is to finance the following projects and/or activities: a) Promote the hiring of unemployed workers registered in Vallirana (for initial contracts, extensions, extensions of working hours or transformation into permanent ones), by any natural or legal person with economic activity, with the aim of facilitating their access to the labor market. b) Promote new self-employment and entrepreneurship projects of natural or legal persons based in Vallirana. c) Encourage the realization of productive investments that generate added value to the local productive fabric. Thus, three lines of subsidy are established: Line 1 (L1): Promotion of job contracts for unemployed people Line 2 (L2): Promotion of new self-employment and entrepreneurship projects Line 3 (L3): Projects in productive investments The insertion of unemployed people will be promoted through contracting (L1) or self-employment (L2), if they belong to one of the following groups with greater difficulty in accessing the labor market: - Unemployed women - Unemployed young people up to 30 years old - Unemployed people aged 52 years or older - Unemployed people with a recognized disability of at least 33% 3. Regulatory bases The specific regulatory bases, initially approved and submitted to public information for consultation and allegations, became final and subject to publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) dated June 25, 2024. Amount of the call and amounts to be subsidized The maximum budget allocated for the granting of subsidies, this year 2024, is a total amount of €135,000.00, broken down into: - 75,000.00 euros, for lines L1 and L2 - 60,000.00 euros, for line L3 The amount of subsidy to request varies depending on the subsidy line. For its calculation, a percentage will be applied to the eligible expenses and with maximum amounts to be requested. These percentages and maximum amounts are increased in lines L1 and L2 if the person benefiting from the action (the contracted person or the entrepreneur) belongs to one of the prioritized groups. L1 - Promotion of job contracts for unemployed people The calculation of the amount to be requested must be carried out on the eligible expenses (sum of the gross remuneration and the business contribution) and up to a maximum of 6 months. Of this total cost, 50% will be subsidized, and up to a maximum amount of €3,000.00 per hired worker. If the hired worker belongs to one of the groups prioritized due to their greater difficulty in accessing the labor market, this maximum amount will be €5,000.00.
