Official description of the call

BDNS 778993 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in the Official Gazette of the Junta of Andalusia. First. Call. 1. For the financial year 2024, the subsidies provided for in the Order of the Ministry of Tourism and Foreign Andalusia are announced, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, on a non-competitive basis, to tourism companies in Andalusia, to alleviate the effects of the drought in the tourism sector, as well as to mitigate and adapt Andalusian tourist destinations to climate change, within the framework of the Recovery and Transformation Plan. and Resilience (C14.I4.2). Specifically, the lines that are called are the following: a) Line 1: Subsidies to companies that provide tourist accommodation services and other types of activities or services linked to tourism. b) Line 2: Subsidies to companies that provide the restaurant/hospitality service 2. The call is incorporated into the regulatory bases, in accordance with the provisions of article 61.1 of Royal Decree-Law 36/2020, of December 30, which approves urgent measures for the modernization of the Public Administration and for the execution of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of the subsidies being called is the financing of investment projects to alleviate the effects of drought in the tourism sector, as well as to mitigate and adapt Andalusian tourist destinations to climate change. To this end, eligible projects will be those investments aimed at reducing water consumption through reuse and savings by tourism companies that provide their services or carry out their activities in Andalusia, as well as those that contribute to the mitigation and adaptation to climate change of tourism activity. In particular, the following actions will be eligible for subsidies: a) Actions based on the reuse of water, consisting of the treatment and subsequent reuse of water from sources other than the drinking water network. b) Actions that reduce the flow of water necessary for a specific use at the point of consumption and that, as a consequence, lead to water savings in the set of facilities in service of an establishment. c) Adaptation of infrastructure to prevent excess heat or cold. d) Installation of green roofs with low water consumption or replacement of green roofs with artificial ones; replacement in gardens and other vegetation areas with plant species especially adapted to the restriction or absence of water. e) Projects to improve energy efficiency. Third. Beneficiaries. The status of beneficiaries for the purposes of these rules will be the natural or legal persons who own companies that are validly constituted, have their own legal personality, have an operational establishment in Andalusia at the time of submitting the subsidy application regardless of where their registered office is located and carry out an economic activity through which they offer goods or services in the market, in accordance with the following: a) Line 1 (Subsidies to natural or legal persons who own companies that provide tourist accommodation services and other types of accommodation. of activities or services linked to tourism, and/or owners of the property or properties where such activities are developed or planned to be developed). Included in this line are those natural or legal persons who own companies that provide or carry out any of the following tourist services or activities: - Tourist accommodation establishments. - Activities aimed at the organization of conferences, conventions or other types of events linked to business activity. - Sports activities carried out in ski resorts, golf courses, marinas, polo fields or others. - Leisure, entertainment and leisure activities that take place in theme, amusement, aquatic, zoo or botanical parks. - Spas, spas or other healthy facilities or activities
