Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries The Marathon Contest is intended for those of legal age, residents or born in the province of Almería. One third of the team may be made up of people residing outside the province. In order to participate, an audiovisual work previously directed by the project director must be submitted along with the application. You may also contribute an audiovisual work in the production of which one of the members of the main team that registers in the contest has participated (which is reflected in the registration form). Teams that have won first prize in any of the three previous editions of this activity will not be able to participate in this edition, unless the director is a different person from the editions in which they won the prize. Second. Purpose Promote the province of Almería by reinforcing the historical links of this province with the industry and audiovisual culture. Third. Regulatory Bases Publication in the Official Gazette of the province of Almería, notice board and transparency portal on the website (www.dipalme.org) and on the website www.festivaldealmeria.com. Room. Amount The amount assigned to this call amounts to two thousand three hundred (2,300) euros. Fifth. Application submission period The submission period begins on the day following publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería and the notice board at www.dipalme.org. Ends on October 9, 2024. Sixth. Other information Registration will be carried out by the person holding the position of director of the short film. You must form a team (minimum three people), assuming its direction and spokesperson. The objective is to make a short film in the province of Almería by a work team, quickly and spontaneously, demonstrating talent and creativity. The Almería International Film Festival is held from November 15 to 24, 2024.
