ANNEX I. CALL FOR THE GRANT OF SUBSIDIES IN THE FIELD OF SCHOOL AID, YEAR 2024 1. Regulatory Bases These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of this call; in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 886/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; in Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidy Database and the advertising of subsidies and other public aid and in the remaining administrative law rules that may be applicable, and failing that, the private law rules. The bases for the granting of these subsidies are contained in the Regulatory Bases for the Granting of School Aid for Students of Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary Education and other Academic Studies of Official Education published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 137, of Monday, November 13, 2023. The procedure for the granting of these subsidies will be on a competitive basis. 2. Budget Appropriations The budget appropriations to which the subsidy is allocated are the following: Budget application and maximum total amount of the subsidies called: 2024.3260.48004. School Aid/complementary education services: 12,000.00 euros. Exceptionally, the call may establish, in addition to the maximum total amount within the available credits, an additional amount whose application to the granting of subsidies will not require a new call. The setting and use of this additional amount will be subject to the rules of article 58 of the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21. 3. Object, Conditions and Purpose of the Grant of the Subsidy The purpose of the subsidy is to support those families who, due to their current economic situation, are at a social disadvantage compared to the rest of the population, on the one hand, in attendance at the school cafeteria and, on the other, in the acquisition of expenses derived from being a student. The following activities may be subject to subsidy: Acquisition of textbooks and/or complementary teaching materials and full coverage of school lunch expenses for Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education students, enrolled in public schools and institutes in this municipality; when they do not have the zero fee recognized through the Ministry of Education. Study aid for the acquisition of school supplies and transportation for students who study outside the municipality because there is no training offer there. The amount of the subsidy will have a maximum of twelve thousand euros. The granting of the aid contemplated in this call will be subject to the principles of publicity, transparency, competition, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, as well as effectiveness in meeting objectives and efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources. 4. Requirements to Apply for the Subsidy and How to Accredit Them Requirements to apply for the subsidy: Those people who, residing in the Municipality of Buenavista del Norte, study at official educational centers of a public, subsidized or private nature, in person or remotely, may be beneficiaries of this aid. In relation to aid for the purchase of textbooks and other teaching materials, as well as for attendance at the school cafeteria, the father, mother or legal guardian of the student may be beneficiaries. The following requirements must also be met: Both the student and the other members of the family unit must be registered in this municipal area for a minimum of six (6) months, as of the date of submission of the application; unless there are circumstances that justify otherwise. No academic performance will be required for the granting of these aids.
