Call for aid for housing rental in the municipality of Zumaia for the year 2024, aimed at people over 36 years of age

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. These aid are intended for residents of Zumaia over 36 years of age and with an annual income of less than 28,000 euros per year if they are an applicant and 38,000 euros per year in the case of cohabiting units. In addition, aid is intended for those people who allocate at least 30% of their income to pay rent. Second.Object. The purpose of this call is to contribute part of the payment of the rent for the home intended for the habitual residence of those who make the request, who already have it rented. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory ordinance that will govern the granting of housing rental aid to people over 36 years of age in the municipality of Zumaia (Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa no. 173, of September 6, 2024). Room. Amount. The total amount of subsidies to be granted in this call will be 25,0000 euros corresponding to the following item of the General Budget of the Zumaia City Council for the year 2024: 1 1200.480.152.20.01 2024 "Subsidy for the promotion of rentals". If this amount is exhausted, it can be completed with the amount allocated to the call for subsidies for young people between 18 and 35 years old, as long as there is money left over. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. Applications will be submitted to the Zumaia Municipal Registry or by any of the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. They may also be submitted by electronic registration by accessing the electronic headquarters of the City Council through its website (www.zumaia.eus). The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa., Sixth. Form and terms of payment. Payment will be made in 2 payments by bank transfer to an account owned by the beneficiary: A first payment will be made after the resolution of the call. The amount of the first payment will be proportional to the rental expenses that have been justified to date. The second payment, corresponding to the rest of the subsidy, will be made after the complete presentation of the supporting documentation as indicated in article 12 of the regulatory bases.
