Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. For the granting of this aid, the following requirements and priorities will be taken into account, and the interested parties must also be on active duty and assigned to the organic structure of the Army. First: Officers of the General Corps of the Army who are not in possession of courses collected according to Royal Decree 339/2015 of April 30, which regulates the training of improvement and Higher Studies of the National Defense, as well as those Officers of the General Corps of the Army who have accreditation for the performance of Higher Level functions in any of the preventive disciplines contemplated in article 34.c of the Royal Decree 39/1997, of January 17, which approves the Regulation of Prevention Services and is assigned to vacancies in which a Higher Technician qualification in occupational risk prevention is required. Second: Officers of the General Corps of the Army, who, being in possession of a higher course, need to carry out advisory functions on the prevention of occupational risks in their destination. Third: Officers of the Military Legal Corps integrated into the organic structure of the Army who, by reason of their destination, carry out optional tasks directly related to the prevention of occupational risks. Fourth: Officers included in the previous priorities who plan to be transferred to the reserve within three years from the publication of the corresponding call. Those who are entitled to free tuition and do not pay any type of fee are excluded from this financial aid. Aid cannot be requested by staff who plan a change in administrative situation or a mission abroad during the completion of the Master's Degree. Second.Object. Grant financial aid, on a competitive basis, whose purpose is to cover the costs of the first registrations (fees, exam fees, etc.) and fees for issuing the university degree, corresponding to the completion of the Official University Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. The granting of the aid will consist of the payment of the registration fee in a single payment and the payment of the amount of the issuance fee for the corresponding university degree once it has been obtained, not including in any case the cost of the teaching material. Third. Regulatory bases. Approved by Order DEF/1431/2023 of December 22, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of aid for the completion of a Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, for Army personnel or integrated into its structure, published in BOD No. 2 of January 3, 2024. Fourth. Amount. The financial award is 35,000 euros, with a maximum of 4,000 euros per person. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen (15) business days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the "Official State Gazette". Sixth. Other data. The completion of the Master's Degree will be without prejudice to the service, although those designated will be authorized to be absent from the destination for the purpose of taking the exams and their attendance will be considered an act of service. The time dedicated in person or online to the execution of the mandatory Master's practices will also be considered an act of service, without the right to compensation. Incompatible with any other subsidy, aid, income or resources for the same purpose. Applications will be formalized by interested parties according to the model in ANNEX I of the call. This presentation will be made directly by the interested party, who will be responsible for ensuring that it is done within the deadlines established for this in the call. Interested parties will submit their request, with the attached documentation, through SIMENDEF addressed to the GENERAL SECRETARY OF MADOC, specifying in the Subject MASTER PRL.
